¡Fahrphysik und neuer Community-Aspekt!

Angesichts des bewussten Ausbaus der Stärken, des Ausmerzens einiger Schwächen (leider nicht die erwähnte KI) sowie der Verfeinerungen, die Forza Horizon 5 bietet und die es zu einem absoluten Schwergewicht macht, verwundert es nicht, dass die Fahrphysik weiterhin neben der Kulisse das Prunkstück darstellt. Sie bietet wie gehabt einen nahezu perfekten Kompromiss zwischen dem Simulations-Ursprung der Hauptserie Forza Motorsport und dem zugänglicheren Fahrspaß, den ein Arcade-Racer benötigt. Die verschiedenen Untergründe wirken sich spürbar aus und geben einem abhängig vom gewählten Fahrzeug stets ein überzeugendes Gefühl, lassen aber auch niemals einen Zweifel aufkommen, dass Horizon seine Fahrphysik-Wurzeln auch und ganz besonders im Arcade-Bereich sieht. Dank zahlreicher zuschaltbarer Fahrhilfen kommen Anfänger ebenso auf die Kosten wie Fortgeschrittene und Profis. Letztere können sogar noch im umfangreichen, aber auch teilweise automatisierbaren, aber letztlich nicht für den prinzipiellen Fahrspaß verantwortlichen Tuning versuchen, die letzte Pferdestärke auf den Asphalt, den Sand oder den Schotter zu bringen. Künstler hingegen können versuchen, mit dem abermals mächtigen Editor, Lackierungen aller Art auf den Karossen anzubringen und dürfen diese natürlich auch mit den übrigen Spielern teilen.

Überhaupt wird der Community-Aspekt in dieser so genannten „Shared World“ weiterhin groß geschrieben. Und das äußerst sich nicht nur in den Wettbewerben, die man gemeinsam oder kompetitiv erleben kann. Auch die Option, eigene Rennen zu erstellen oder den anderen Spielern Herausforderungen zur Verfügung zu stellen, ist nicht neu, aber immer noch gut bis sehr gut implementiert sowie im Rahmen des so genannten „EventLab“ kreativ erweitert. Mit dem frischen „Link“-Feature wiederum möchte man die Kontaktaufnahme innerhalb Community massiv erleichtern: Dieses neue Kommunikationstool, das sich wie GPS-Assistentin Anna über das Digikreuz steuern lässt, erkennt eure inhaltlichen Vorlieben, weiß, wer um euch herum ebenfalls in der Spielwelt herumfährt und gibt Text-Vorschläge ab, die man absetzen sowie aus einer vorgegebenen Liste selbst zusammenstellen kann, um Kontakt aufzunehmen, ggf. Aktivitäten miteinander zu planen und sich zu verbinden. Selbst Nachfragen zur Suche nach den Scheunen mit versteckten Autos bzw. Hilfe beim Finden dieser sind mit Forza Link nötig. Ich fahre zwar normalerweise (wenn überhaupt) nur gemeinsam mit Spielern aus der Freundesliste durch die Horizon-Welt und beschäftige mich sehr gerne alleine mit den Herausforderungen und Rennen. Wer aber gerne mit der Community unterwegs ist, findet mit Forza Link ein weiteres Tool, um gemeinsam Spaß zu haben.

    Schwachsinn. Allein schon wenn man sich für eine Tour oder wöchentliche Herausforderung anmeldet, ist von Klasse D bis S2 wirklich alles dabei, einschließlich Limitierung auf bestimmte Fahrzeug-Typen wie Hotrods oder Trucks. Aber Du kannst ja mal aus dem Nähkästchen plaudern, wie man mit einem Hypercar an einer VW Käfer Challenge teilnimmt. Vielleicht kann man hier ja noch was lernen.
