Fazit

Dieses ausgeklügelte Spiel durfte nicht in unserem Archiv für iOS fehlen! Edge ist bereits ein gefeierter Klassiker im jungen AppStore – und das zu Recht: Es ist sowohl für Einsteiger interessant, die sich gemütlich durch die Level knobeln wollen, als auch für Highscore-Jäger, die den Druck der Zeit und den rasanten Wettbewerb der Reflexe suchen. Denn auch wenn man in zwei Stunden durch sein kann, ist man noch längst nicht “gut” dabei – es geht um Perfektion! Ab und zu verflucht man zwar die Steuerung, wenn sie mal nicht ganz genau zu reagieren scheint und der Würfel über die Kante rollt – aber meist steckt dahinter die eigene Ungeduld.  Edge symbolisiert als kreativer Puzzler die Anziehungskraft der schlichten, aber gleichzeitig anspruchsvollen Spiele. Es hält sich in seiner geometrischen Kulisse spartanisch zurück und setzt auf einen dezenten Elektro- und House-Soundtrack. Aber der schlichte Schein trügt: Hinsichtlich des ausgeklügelten Leveldesigns mit all seinen Winkeln, Schikanen, Tempowechseln und Überraschungen kann das kleine Edge sogar mit großen Mario-Klassikern mithalten!

  3. Wirklich schönes Spiel.
    Dankenswerterweise gab es den Titel kurz nach der Wiederinbetriebnahme des PSN günstig für PS3 und PSP im Angebot. So kann ich diesen tollen Titel jetzt zusätzlich mit echten Buttons spielen, was mir doch sehr gelegen kommt - und ja, die Level sind identisch.

  4. Das Spiel ist wirklich spaßig für zwischendurch. Als genial würde ich es jetzt nicht bezeichnen, aber es ist ein gutes Spiel.
    Ich kenne nur die PSP-Version (PSP Mini), die scheint aber weitgehend identisch mit der getesteten iOS-Fassung zu sein.
