Die Story
Ist quasi nicht vorhanden: Es gibt lediglich einen Haufen strohdummer Mäuse, die gerne in ihre Raumschiffe verfrachtet werden wollen.

Das Gameplay
Zum Glück ist den armen Geschöpfen der virtuellen Natur noch ein Kleinhirn geblieben, dass sie zum dauerhaften Rennen in eine bestimmte Richtung veranlasst. Das Spielfeld auf dem sie ihre Runden drehen sieht wie ein Schachbrett aus der Vogelperspektive aus. Dieses Gebiet ist dabei mit Hindernissen gespickt: Sowohl labyrinthartige Wandbauten als auch tiefe Löcher und hungrige Katzen, die euch bei betreten der Rakete ein Drittel der Punkte kosten, machen euch das Leben schwer. Folgende Aufgabe kommt dabei auf euch zu: Durch Druck auf A,X,Y oder B setzt ihr Pfeile in vier Himmelsrichtungen auf die freien Flächen. Dadurch wird den Krabbeltieren ein Richtungswechsel signalisiert. So dirigiert man so viele wie nur möglich zu seiner Abschussrampe. Das ist leichter gesagt, als getan: Drei Mitspieler wollen auch einen Flug ins All und verursachen ein riesiges Chaos: Krampfhaft versucht ihr euren Freunden (oder den Computergegnern) die Katzen zuzuschieben und gleichzeitig das eigene Gebiet zu verteidigen. Selbst die Basis komplett abzusichern hilft wenig: Kehrt eine Maus mit Fragezeichen auf dem Kopf ein, folgt sofort ein Event und auf einmal wird der Platz mit einem Mitspieler getauscht. Das ärgert einen besonders, wenn der Event “Mouse Mania” vorher an der Reihe war. Schlagartig finden sich mehr als dreimal so viele Mäuse ohne Katzen auf dem Parkett, und eure perfekt gesetzten Pfeile helfen nun dem Gegner. Um so glücklicher kann man sich dagegen schätzen, wenn dabei eine “Cat Mania” auftritt. Slowdowns oder Speedups machen die Verwirrung komplett. Natürlich gibt es die Möglichkeit, dass sich jeweils zwei verbünden um gegeneinander zu spielen.
