Die Temperaturen steigen, die Preise auch: Angesichts der Inflation lohnt auch diese Woche ein Blick in den Epic Games Store, um gegebenenfalls den eigenen Geldbeutel zu schonen.

 

Wie jede Woche verschenkt der Steam-Konkurrent nämlich einen Titel, den ihr innerhalb der Zeitspanne von sieben Tagen kostenlos herunterladen und dann für immer behalten könnt. Vergangenen Donnerstag war mit Fallout: New Vegas ein echter Rollenspielklassiker der Moderne am Start, noch bis zum 8. Juni um 16:59 Uhr setzt man jetzt auf eine gruselige Geisterjagd.

Midnight Ghost Hunt: Manischer Multiplayer

Das sich noch im Early Access befindende Midnight Ghost Hunt lädt nämlich in eine prall gefüllte Geisterbahn ein, in der vier Spieler in die Rolle der Jäger und vier in die Rolle der Schreckgespenster schlüpfen. Ähnlich wie bei Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed heißt es dann Mann gegen Geist, wobei beide Parteien auf ihre ganz eigenen Waffen setzen.

Als Jäger stattet euch Midnight Ghost Hunt natürlich mit der entsprechenden Technologie aus, um die aufmüpfigen Bettlaken ein für allemal einzufangen. Ein paar übernatürliche Fähigkeiten bekommen die menschlichen Widersacher auch, um sich gegen die Gespenster zu behaupten, die wiederum in Möbelstücke schlüpfen und Stühle oder Tische als Wurfgeschosse verwenden können.

Epic Games Store will Spieler weiter überraschen

Genau wie Fallout: New Vegas war auch Midnight Ghost Hunt bis zu seiner gestrigen Enthüllung eine Überraschung, aktuell herrscht im Epic Games Store nämlich wieder ganz schöne Geheimniskrämerei. Welches Spiel euch ab dem 8. Juni um 17 Uhr kostenlos beim Online Shop erwartet, hat man dementsprechend auch noch nicht verraten, wir halten euch aber natürlich auf dem Laufenden.

Falls ihr in der Zwischenzeit viele Spiele für kleines Geld sucht: Bei dem aktuellen Humble Bundle bekommen Metroidvania-Fans beispielsweise fast zehn Spiele für weniger als 15 Euro geboten, während PlayStation Plus-Abonnenten in Kürze ebenfalls drei Titel ohne Extrakosten in ihre Bibliothek packen oder auf die eigene Festplatte ziehen dürfen.
