Im M\u00e4rz wird die erste Erweiterung des Jahres f\u00fcr Path of Exile erscheinen. Sie wird den Untertitel Delirium tragen. Die PC-Version von Path of Exile: Delirium wird am 13. M\u00e4rz ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Die Konsolen-Fassungen werden in der darauf folgenden Woche erscheinen. <\/p>\n

In Path of Exile: Delirium sollen sowohl die Charakter-Entwicklung als auch die Belohnungen f\u00fcr das eingegangene Risiko (Risk\/Reward) in den Delirium-Herausforderungen weiter ausgebaut werden. In jedem Gebiet der Spielwelt wird man auf einen “Mirror of Delirium” sto\u00dfen. Durchschreitet man diesen Spiegel, wird die Umgebung in sich ausbreitenden Nebel geh\u00fcllt und es sollen sich die “gr\u00f6\u00dften \u00c4ngste” manifestieren – nat\u00fcrlich in Form von Gegnern. Die bereits in den Gebieten herumlungernden Monster bekommen neue F\u00e4higkeiten spendiert (Debuff-bei-Treffer; Effekt-nach-dem-Tod) und auch neue Feinde werden auftauchen. Je weiter man in den Nebel vordringt, desto st\u00e4rker werden die Monster und desto besser werden die Belohnungen. Man kann im Delirium auf die Bossgegner treffen, die von einem zus\u00e4tzlichen D\u00e4mon besessen sind und dadurch neue F\u00e4higkeiten erhalten. Alle Bossgegner (inkl. der Akt-Bosse) erhalten neue F\u00e4higkeiten. Den “Brine King” aus dem sechsten Akt mit Delirium-Effekten k\u00f6nnt ihr euch im folgenden Video anschauen.<\/p>\n

Delirium funktioniert mit vielen \u00e4lteren Ligen\/Inhalten aus Path of Exile, z.B. mit Ambush Strongboxes, Betrayal Encounters, Incursion und Breach, wodurch diese noch herausfordernder werden sollen. Das folgende Video zeigt Delirium-Spielszenen aus fr\u00fchen, mittleren und sp\u00e4teren Spielabschnitten. Am Ende des Clips ist die Delirium-Interaktion mit \u00e4lteren Inhalten zu sehen (ab 2:35 Min.). Den Story-Gegenspieler wollten die Entwickler noch nicht preisgeben.<\/p>\n

Der Kern der Kampfmechanik von Delirium erinnert an Breach, aber man hat die direkte Kontrolle \u00fcber die Herausforderung. Im Vergleich zu Breach gibt es mehr Abwechslung, weil Delirium mit jedem Inhalt des Spiels verbunden ist und keine in sich geschlossene Begegnung darstellt. Die Bandbreite des Schwierigkeitsgrades bei Delirium ist vielf\u00e4ltiger und orientiert sich an Delve oder Metamorph. Die Spieler sollen w\u00e4hrend des Durchspielens der Handlung dazu gebracht werden, “schlagkr\u00e4ftige Charakter-Builds” zu erstellen, damit sie mehr Belohnungen erhalten k\u00f6nnen, anstatt nur m\u00f6glichst schnell und mit der Mindestst\u00e4rke das Endgame zu erreichen.<\/p>\n

Jedes Gebiet bietet zuf\u00e4llige Delirium-Belohnungen, wie z.B. W\u00e4hrungsgegenst\u00e4nde, Kartengegenst\u00e4nde, seltene R\u00fcstungsteile usw. Wenn man es schafft, gen\u00fcgend Monster im Delirium zu t\u00f6ten, erh\u00e4lt man einen dieser Gegenst\u00e4nde. An diesem Punkt wird der Fortschritt zur\u00fcckgesetzt und man kann weitermachen, wobei die Belohnungen in diesem Delirium dann langsam abnehmen. Auf Endgame-Karten kann man noch “Orbs of Delirium” finden. Jeder Orb erh\u00f6ht die Monsterdichte im Delirium, wodurch sich Schwierigkeitsgrad und Belohnung erh\u00f6hen. Jeder “Orb of Delirium” hat ein Belohnungsthema und legt den Delirium-Belohnungstyp fest. Au\u00dferdem kann man auf Delirium-Karten, die von “Orbs of Delirium” beeinflusst werden, die “Simulacrum Splinters” finden, mit denen sich ein Simulacrum herstellen l\u00e4sst – eine besondere Endgame-Herausforderung, welche die Entwickler noch nicht enth\u00fcllen wollten.<\/p>\n

In der Delirium-League erh\u00e4lt man die neuen “Cluster-Juwels”, mit denen man den ohnehin schon gigantischen passiven Skilltree dynamisch ausbauen kann. Man kann diese “Cluster-Juwels” an die externen Sockel des Skilltrees anheften und so neue Talentcluster bilden, die wiederum neue Sockel und Boni enthalten. Laut Chris Wilson von Grinding Gear Games soll dies die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Ver\u00e4nderung beim Klassen-Fortschritt seit den Ascendancy-Klassen im Jahr 2016 sein. “Cluster-Juwels” gibt es in drei Gr\u00f6\u00dfen und mit diversen unterschiedlichen passiven Boni, Pl\u00e4tzen f\u00fcr Gems und Sockeln. Neu ist ebenfalls der Spielstil-beeinflussende Keystone “Hollow Palm Technique” (unbewaffneter M\u00f6nch-Kampfstil).<\/p>\n

Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden die Entwickler weitere Anpassungen an der Atlas-Benutzeroberfl\u00e4che nach “Conquerors of the Atlas” (Dezember) und dem Spawn-System vornehmen. Fortan kommt ein deterministisches System zum Einsatz, das in gelben Feldern auf der linken Seite genau anzeigt, wie viele Karten man noch absolvieren muss, bevor der Boss erscheint. Die “Vaal Side Areas” im Endgame sowie der Temple of Atzoatl sollen ebenso verbessert. Die “Metamorph League”, die zusammen mit “Conquerors of the Atlas” erschienen ist, wird derweil ins Hauptspiel mit aufgenommen.<\/p>\n
