Das Magazin Appleinsider.com<\/a> ist auf einen entsprechenden Eintrag<\/a> gesto\u00dfen, der VR-Nutzer davor bewahren soll, in reale Objekte zu laufen. Das System \u00e4hnelt also g\u00e4ngigen “Chaparone”-Schutzgittern – z.B. von SteamVR oder Oculus – bietet am Rand der Spielfl\u00e4che allerdings zwei hinereinander liegende Grenzen. Bei der ersten wird ein “visueller Hinweis in der Virtual-Reality-Umgebung eingeblendet, worin der visuelle Hinweis mit der Distanz korrespondiert, welche mit dem physischen Objekt assoziiert wird”.

Sollte man weiter nah genug an die zweite, \u00e4u\u00dfere Grenze laufen, solle zumindest teilweise eine Anzeige der Au\u00dfenwelt eingeblendet werden – oder auch eine Anzeige, welche die Au\u00dfenwelt repr\u00e4sentiert.

Zum Vergleich: Bei der Oculus Rift oder Quest wird die abgefilmte Au\u00dfenwelt in Graut\u00f6nen angezeigt, sobald man durch die vorher festgelegte Grenze des Spielfelds schreitet.

Das interessanteste Detail ist laut Uploadvr.com<\/a> aber, dass es bei Apple Mechanismen bzw. Hilfen geben soll, um den Nutzer zur\u00fcck in die virtuelle Welt zu f\u00fchren. Dies k\u00f6nnte z.B. als eine Art T\u00fcr dargestellt werden, durch die man zur\u00fcck in die Spielwelt schreitet.

Au\u00dferdem k\u00f6nnte etwa ein voher festgelegtes, eingeblendetes Gem\u00e4lde davor warnen, dass man sich realen Objekten n\u00e4hert. Auch Oculus’ Guardian-System zeigt bereits seit einigen Wochen an, wenn sich neue Hindernisse im vorher festgelegten Spielbereich befinden.
