Wer sich f\u00fcr Computer- und Videospiele interessiert, d\u00fcrfte Begriffe aus dem englischen Sprachraum schon l\u00e4ngst verinnerlicht haben. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob es um Genre-Bezeichnungen geht (Jump’n’ Run, Adventure, RPG), Personengruppen (Gamer) oder um Hard- und Softwarenamen \u2013 Englisch ist in dieser Sph\u00e4re einfach \u00fcberall. In Frankreich jedoch sind die vielen Termini Entscheidungstr\u00e4gern offenbar ein Dorn im Auge. Deswegen haben sie beschlossen, sie durch franz\u00f6sische zu ersetzen.

Frankreich ersetzt mehrere englische Gaming-Begriffe<\/h2>\n

Wie unter anderem der Spiegel berichtet<\/a>, habe sich die Kommission zur Bereicherung der franz\u00f6sischen Sprache des Themas angenommen. In einem ver\u00f6ffentlichten PDF<\/a> wurden zahlreiche bekannte Begriffe festgehalten, die jetzt offiziell ein Pendant in der Landessprache erhalten haben.

Darunter z\u00e4hlen so gel\u00e4ufige Bezeichnungen wie Early Access, E-Sport, Streamer und mehr. Die neuen franz\u00f6sischsprachigen Entsprechungen sollen vor allem in Beh\u00f6rden und staatlichen Einrichtungen sowie deren Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen Verwendung finden. F\u00fcr deren Angestellte ist die Nutzung damit verbindlich. Es sei eine Aufgabe der Kommission, die franz\u00f6sische Sprache zum Beispiel in Wissenschaft und Technik zu f\u00f6rdern.
