Die Reflexionen sind das einzige Grafikelement, das mit Raytracing via Vulkan Ray Tracing realisiert wird – und damit auf Grafikkarten von AMD und Nvidia funktioniert, idealerweise mit Hardware-Beschleunigung und RT-Kernen. Die folgenden Eindr\u00fccke stammen von der PC-Version des Shooters. <\/p>\n

Die Reflexionen spiegeln die Spielwelt auf Basis ihrer simulierten Materialien wider – so sind die Level-Architektur, der Doom Slayer plus Waffe, Lichtquellen und emittierende Texturen auf reflektierenden Oberfl\u00e4chen zu sehen, auch wenn diese sich au\u00dferhalb des aktuellen Bildschirmausschnitts befinden und in der “normalen” Rasterisierungsvariante nicht sichtbar w\u00e4ren. Partikeleffekte wie Funken sind in den Reflexionen ebenfalls zu sehen, wenn sie im Sichtfeld sind.
