Bislang war man in Redmond geduldig, aber so langsam rei\u00dft offenbar der Geduldsfaden: Microsoft macht kurzen Prozess und plant nicht nur Activision-Blizzard zu \u00fcbernehmen, sondern auch Sony<\/strong>. Der Gedankengang: Wenn Sony Call of Duty nicht verlieren will, dann bringt man eben beide zusammen \u2013 unter der gro\u00dfen Haube des Windows- und Xbox-Konzerns. Kostenpunkt? Angeblich bis zu 200 Milliarden US-Dollar<\/strong>.

Microsoft und Sony: PlayStation und Game Pass vereint<\/h2>

Aus vermeintlich internen Kreisen h\u00f6rt man es munkeln, dass die Microsoft-Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung lange Zeit die Verhandlungen bez\u00fcglich Activision-Blizzard vor den verschiedenen Wettbewerbsbeh\u00f6rden der Welt ruhig und zielstrebig verfolgte. Doch mit den zunehmenden \u00c4u\u00dferungen Sonys, welche anscheinend als Giftpfeile wahrgenommen werden, soll man immer nerv\u00f6ser werden.

Die Konsequenz? Statt dem Konkurrenten einen noch besseren Call of Duty-Deal anzubieten, holt man sie einfach direkt ins Boot. Zwar sind die Kosten dabei ein kleines bisschen h\u00f6her, aber langfristig wird sich das schon irgendwie bezahlt machen. Schlie\u00dflich kann man mit einer gegl\u00fcckten \u00dcbernahme zuk\u00fcnftig s\u00e4mtliche Microsoft-Produkte direkt auf die PlayStation bringen \u2013 Game Pass, Edge-Browser, Office und nat\u00fcrlich nicht zu vergessen, der Taschenrechner.

F\u00fcr Besitzer einer PlayStation 5 soll sich \u00fcbrigens erst einmal nicht viel \u00e4ndern, au\u00dfer, dass sie zuk\u00fcnftig ein paar mehr Microsoft- beziehungsweise Xbox-Symbole zu Gesicht bekommen. Zuk\u00fcnftig k\u00f6nnte die \u00dcbernahme dazu f\u00fchren, dass Microsoft die Xbox und PlayStation zusammenwirft, um ein Endprodukt zu bieten. Codenamen wie Playbox und X-Station werden scheinbar bereits diskutiert.

Auch ein Geschenk an die Menschheit<\/h2>

Bef\u00fcrchtungen, dass Wettbewerbsbeh\u00f6rden den Deal nicht durchgehen lassen und auf eine Monopolstellung hinweisen, gibt es bei Microsoft nicht. Zum einen gibt es ja noch Nintendo und mit denen hat Microsoft keinen gro\u00dfen Zwist \u2013 Mario, Link und die Pok\u00e9mon seien cool und sowieso hat Nintendo ja l\u00e4ngst den 10-Jahres-Deal \u00fcber Call of Duty angenommen<\/a>.

Zum anderen soll Microsoft die Sony-\u00dcbernahme als ein positives Zeichen werten, denn damit w\u00fcrde man ein f\u00fcr alle Mal den sogenannten “Konsolenkrieg” beenden. Schlie\u00dflich m\u00fcssten sich die Fan-Lager nun nicht mehr die wildesten Behauptungen, wessen Konsole cooler und wessen Spiele besser sind, an den Kopf werfen \u2013 es ist ja sowieso ein und derselbe Konzern! Was bei Cola und Pepsi oder Messi und Cristiano Ronaldo nie so richtig klappte, soll im Konsolengesch\u00e4ft Wirklichkeit werden: Harmonie statt Zwist in den sozialen Netzwerken.
