Gamescom Opening-Night am 23. August<\/h2>
Wie Moderator und Erfinder der Opening-Night, Geoff Keighley auf Twitter freudestrahlend verk\u00fcndet, startet die neue Ausgabe seines Formats genau einen Abend, bevor die Gamescom offiziell beginnt. Er k\u00fcndigt \u2013 ganz wie es seine unnachahmliche Art ist \u2013 zahlreiche Trailer f\u00fcr neue und bereits bekannte Spiele an, auch ein paar Weltpremieren sollen den Weg ins Programm finden.

Die Veranstaltung wird, anders als in den letzten beiden Jahren, direkt vom Messegel\u00e4nde in K\u00f6ln von 20:00 bis 22:00 auf Twitch und YouTube gestreamt. Bis zu 5000 Fans sollen auch live dabei sein k\u00f6nnen. Da es eine Regel f\u00fcr die Opening-Night ist, nur Material von sogenannten “Gamescom-Partnern” zu zeigen, scheiden Ank\u00fcndigungen oder Gameplay-Material der Spiele von Electronic Arts, Sony und Nintendo hier schon einmal aus.

Dollarzeichen in den Augen<\/h2>
M\u00f6chten Spielehersteller einen Sendeplatz in dem von Geoff Keighley erschaffenen Format ergattern, gibt es f\u00fcr sie folgende M\u00f6glichkeiten: Zuerst einmal haben die Entwickler Gl\u00fcck, dessen Ank\u00fcndigungen oder Trailer-Material seitens der Redaktion von Keighley ausgew\u00e4hlt werden, weil ein “besonderes Interesse” besteht.

Auch f\u00fcr Indie-Entwickler gibt es auf diesem Weg eine Wildcard, die eine Vorf\u00fchrung ihrer Inhalte erm\u00f6glicht. Als “Indie” gelten allerdings nur Studios, die einen Jahresumsatz von weniger als 100 Millionen Dollar ausweisen k\u00f6nnen. M\u00f6chte sich ein Entwickler oder Publisher, der nicht ausgew\u00e4hlt wird oder \u00fcber diesem Limit liegt, einen Platz in der Show erkaufen, wird\u2019s teuer:
