Wie kann ich meinen virtuellen Waffenbr\u00fcdern Befehle erteilen? Die Antwort ist einfach: gar nicht. Ubisoft bricht mit der Serientradition und entscheidet sich daf\u00fcr, extra f\u00fcr Nintendos DS einen unkomplizierten Milit\u00e4r-Shooter im Stil der genannten Konkurrenten von Electronic Arts und Activision herauszubringen. Keine strategischen Entscheidungen, kein Nachdenken. Ihr braucht lediglich einen flinker Finger und ein geschicktes H\u00e4ndchen am Stylus, um nicht im unbarmherzigen Dauerbeschuss der “Krauts” unterzugehen. Denn die mit detaillierten Texturen verzierten Nazi-B\u00f6sewichte kennen weder Gnade noch Pause und greifen euch unabl\u00e4ssig von allen Seiten an.<\/p>

Taktik ade – der DS-Ableger ist ein reiner Action-Shooter. Eure Gegner d\u00fcrft ihr nur noch flankieren, wenn es das Spiel vorsieht.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure><\/figure>Auch die Einsatzgebiete, die tunesische W\u00fcste, die Ardennen und die obligatorische Normandie, wurden gut inszeniert. Lediglich die durchgehend niedrige Framerate und der starke Grafikaufbau tr\u00fcben das Bild. Manchmal bekommt ihr sogar richtig beeindruckende Bilder zu Gesicht, wenn ihr z.B. einen gro\u00dfen Turm mit einer Panzerfaust zum Einsturz bringt. All diese Szenen laufen allerdings jedes mal gleich ab – sie sind zu 100% gescriptet, wie auch der Rest des Spiels. Wenn ihr eure Gegner flankiert, dann nur, weil es die Spieldesigner eben genau an der Stelle vorgesehen haben. Sogar eure deutschen Widersacher setzen kaum Grips und Deckung ein. Meist stellen sie sich einfach in eure Schusslinie und versuchen euch durch schiere \u00dcberzahl in die Knie zu zwingen.

Langsam wird’s eng.<\/b><\/p>

Ihr schaut eurem uniformierten Alter Ego \u00fcber die Schulter und lasst ihn via Steuerkreuz durch die engen Level-Schl\u00e4uche laufen, die auf dem oberen Bildschirm zu sehen sind. Kleine Hindernisse \u00fcberspringt er automatisch. Der Stylus fungiert wie bei Metroid Prime Hunters als Mausersatz. Streicht ihr mit dem Plastikstift z.B. von links unten nach rechts oben, bewegt sich auch die Kamera in diese Richtung. Das Kreuz verweilt allerdings nicht immer komplett in der Mitte des Bildschirms. Statt dessen k\u00f6nnt ihr es ein kleines St\u00fcck vom Zentrum weg bewegen. Auf diese Art k\u00f6nnt ihr nahe Gegner quasi aus der H\u00fcfte erschie\u00dfen. <\/p>

Wollt ihr genauer treffen, klickt ihr auf das Touchscreen-Icon mit dem Fernglas. Dann bleibt ihr stehen, legt auf euren Gegner an und k\u00f6nnt ein wenig pr\u00e4ziser schie\u00dfen. Bleibt ihr in der N\u00e4he einer Wand oder eines Sandsacks stehen, geht euer Sch\u00fctzling automatisch in Deckung. Auf diese Weise k\u00f6nnt ihr um die Ecke schauen und das Zielkreuz \u00fcber einen Gegner bewegen. Dann fehlt nur noch ein Druck auf den Abzug und schon springt euer Soldat aus seinem Versteck und feuert eine Salve ab. Lasst ihr die L-Taste wieder los, springt er zur\u00fcck in die sichere Deckung. Werft ihr eine Handgranate, k\u00f6nnt ihr mittels Touchscreen die Wurfbahn bestimmen. Das klappt im Grunde recht gut, allerdings nimmt euch die ung\u00fcnstig platzierte Kamera dabei h\u00e4ufig die Sicht.<\/p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Kampf oder Krampf?<\/b>

Pl\u00f6tzlich steht ihr mitten in die Schusslinie eurer Gegner und d\u00fcrft erst einmal sekundenlang Kugeln einsteckt, bevor ihr \u00fcberhaupt wisst, wo sie sich versteckt haben.

Offenbar ist auch den Entwicklern aufgefallen, was f\u00fcr ein un\u00fcbersichtliches Chaos sich manchmal auf dem Bildschirm abspielt und dass der Spieler nur unzureichend darauf reagieren kann. Deshalb haben sie euren Charakter zumindest auf der normalen Schwierigkeitsstufe mit derart viel Energie ausgestattet, dass sogar \u00fcbermenschliche Superkrieger wie der Master Chief neidisch werden. F\u00fcnf Sekunden lang im gegnerischen Kugelhagel duschen – kein Problem f\u00fcr unseren Helden. Ein Volltreffer aus der Panzerfaust – danke sehr, der n\u00e4chste bitte. Sogar wenn euch ein gegnerischer Panzer mit seiner Kanone maltr\u00e4tiert, f\u00e4rbt sich der Bildschirm nur langsam rot. Sp\u00e4testens dann ist es aber Zeit, f\u00fcr ein paar Sekunden Schutz zu suchen, um das Schild aufzuladen.<\/p>

Panzer-Gaudi<\/b><\/p>

Noch l\u00e4nger als der Charakter h\u00e4lt der Panzer durch, in den ihr von Zeit zu Zeit steigen d\u00fcrft. Die Panzerfahrten sind das Highlight des Spiels. Es macht einfach tierischen Spa\u00df, durch das Terrain zu donnern und die gegnerischen Tanks, Gesch\u00fctzstellungen, Bunker und fl\u00fcchtende Soldaten im Sekundentakt zum Teufel zu jagen. Die gelungenen Soundeffekte lassen das ganze \u00fcbrigens recht realistisch wirken. Das typische pathetische Helden-Orchester gibt es zum Gl\u00fcck nur in den Men\u00fcs zu h\u00f6ren. Im Spiel lauscht ihr dagegen nur den Explosionsger\u00e4uschen, den Schreien eurer Gegner und dem Quietschen der Panzerketten. <\/p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\n\n

Fazit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nSchade: Ubisoft hat den Steuerungsvorteil des Nintendo DS verschenkt – mittels Touchscreen h\u00e4tte man doch so sch\u00f6n seine Kameraden dirigieren k\u00f6nnen! Vielleicht haben sich die Entwickler wegen der schwachen Rechenpower des Handhelds nicht an strategische Elemente mit komplexer KI gewagt und statt dessen lieber versucht, einen guten, einfachen Action-Shooter abzuliefern. Das ist ihnen in Ans\u00e4tzen auch gelungen. Doch f\u00fcr ein derart schnelles und hektisches Spiel ist mir die Steuerung zu ungenau. Warum bleibt das Steuerkreuz nicht einfach immer in der Mitte des Bildschirms? Okay, es wirkt realistischer, dass man nicht alles und jeden einfach aus der H\u00fcfte trifft. Doch auch beim Zielen \u00fcber Kimme und Korn will das Fadenkreuz einfach nicht in der Mitte stehen bleiben. Immerhin wartet temporeiche und grafisch ansprechende Action auf euch – besonders die Panzerfahrten sind eine Gaudi. Doch kaum hat der Spa\u00df begonnen, h\u00f6rt er auch schon wieder auf. Die Kampagne ist an einem Abend durchgezockt. Danach warten nur noch ein h\u00f6herer Schwierigkeitsgrad und einfache Death-Matches gegen bis zu drei Freunde auf euch. Allerdings nur, wenn die sich das Spiel ebenfalls zugelegt haben.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
