Der in einem \u00e4hnlichen Design wie das Yoke entworfene Schubquadrant ist zwar etwas leichter, aber \u00e4hnlich wertig wie sein Steuerhorn-Pendant. Genau wie der Yoke wird der Throttle Quadrant zun\u00e4chst auf einer Basisplatte platziert und dann mit Metallklemmen am Tisch arretiert. Die Befestigung klappt gewohnt problemlos und ist theoretisch ebenfalls mit einem gro\u00dfen Saugnapf m\u00f6glich, falls die Tischplatte keine Klammer-Befestigung erm\u00f6glichen sollte.
Das Ger\u00e4t bietet sechs stufenlose Schubregler, die individuell mit Reglern best\u00fcckt werden k\u00f6nnen \u2013 dazu sp\u00e4ter mehr. Weiterhin umfasst der Bravo Throttle Quadrant sieben hochwertige, unbeschriftete Kippschalter, eine Autopilot-Steuerung mit acht hinterleuchteten Tastern, einem Drehregler sowie einem drehbaren Multi-Auswahlschalter. Auf der linken Seite findet sich ein Hebel f\u00fcr das Fahrwerk, zu dem eine LED-Kontrollanzeige f\u00fcr den Zustand des Fahrwerks geh\u00f6rt. Zudem ist an der vorderen linken Seite ein frei drehbares Plastik-Trimmrad und auf der rechten Seite ein Drei-Wege-Schalter f\u00fcr die Landeklappen verbaut. Oberhalb der Schubregler findet sich au\u00dferdem ein Panel mit 14 beschrifteten Warnleuchten die z.B. den Status der Parkbremse, der Magnetz\u00fcnder oder einfach Master-Caution- und Master-Warning-Zust\u00e4nde anzeigen.

Die Kippschalter rasten klackend ein, die Taster haben einen guten Druckpunkt und Fahrwerkshebel sowie Ladeklappen-Schalter haben \u2013 obwohl nur aus Plastik gefertigt – genug Widerstand, um im Betrieb einen realistischen Eindruck zu erwecken. Auch die Schubhebel bieten einen guten sowie per Schraube regelbaren Widerstand und funktionieren pr\u00e4zise und zuverl\u00e4ssig.
Modulare Schubhebel <\/strong> Wie bereits angedeutet, hat sich Honeycomb f\u00fcr die Schubhebel eine modulare L\u00f6sung \u00fcberlegt. Anstatt nur drei farblich Hebel f\u00fcr Schub, Propeller und Mixtur zu bieten oder nur auf eine zwei- oder vierstrahlige Airliner-L\u00f6sung zu setzen, ist der Bravo-Quadrant frei konfigurierbar: F\u00fcr die sechs, bei Auslieferung mit einer praktischen Gummiabdeckung versehenen Schubachsen, werden zw\u00f6lf Hebel mitgeliefert \u2013 je sechs entweder f\u00fcr zwei- bzw. vierstrahlige Airliner inklusive Umkehrschub-Schalter, St\u00f6rklappen und Landeklappen-Hebel, sowie sechs in der Farbkodierung Schwarz-Blau-Rot f\u00fcr Propeller- und Turbopropmaschinen mit ein oder zwei Triebwerken. Die Hebel k\u00f6nnen per einfachem Stecksystem jederzeit getauscht werden und sind trotz vorgeschlagener Markierungen an der Schubhebel-Basis vollst\u00e4ndig frei platzierbar.

Auch im Airliner-Modus macht der Throttle Quadrant eine gute Figur. \u00a9 4P\/Screenshot<\/div>\n<\/div>\nDas robust wirkende Stecksystem funktioniert gut, ist durchdacht und erm\u00f6glicht die Verwendung mit so ziemlich jedem zivilen Flugzeug der Luftfahrtgeschichte \u2013 egal ob Cessna 172, Boeing 747 oder Lockheed Super Constellation. Allerdings kommt die variable L\u00f6sung auch mit einer kleinen Einschr\u00e4nkung: Die Hebel-Aufs\u00e4tze aus Plastik sind nat\u00fcrlich viel kleiner als ihre realen Vorbilder und wirken trotz solider Verarbeitung und passender Form und Farbgebung besonders bei den Airliner-Schubhebeln eher wie eine Spielzeug-Variante. Kann man \u00fcber diese Schw\u00e4che hinwegsehen, bekommt man f\u00fcr rund 250 Euro aber auf diese Weise eine Komplettl\u00f6sung und muss sein Simulator-Setup nie wieder umbauen \u2013 einfaches Umstecken reicht, um von der Cessna in den Airbus zu wechseln.Konfiguration und Treiber im Flight Simulator <\/strong>
\u00c4hnlich wie der Alpha-Yoke wird auch der Bravo Throttle Quadrant vom Microsoft Flight Simulator sofort erkannt und erh\u00e4lt auch ein Standard-Setup, dass man anders als bei den Alpha Flight Controls aber zwangsl\u00e4ufig bearbeiten muss. Durch die austauschbaren Schubhebel und die freie Konfiguration der Achsen muss man sich f\u00fcr jede der gew\u00fcnschten Anordnungen ein eigenes Profil anlegen, was aber im Flight Simulator dank ordentlicher Steuerungs-Profile gut funktioniert.
Etwas ungewohnt ist die Belegung der Kippschalter, da diese dauerhaft in ihrem jeweiligen Zustand (an \/ aus) verharren. Zudem gilt jeder Zustand der Schalter als einzelne Taste. So sind etwa Taste 34 und 35 die Schalt-Zust\u00e4nde eines Kippschalters. Wollt ihr dann eine Umschalt-Funktion wie z.B. die Parkbremse auf einen der Schalter legen, m\u00fcsst ihr ausprobieren welche der beiden \u201eTasten\u201c ihr nicht belegen solltet, damit ihr wie gew\u00fcnscht umschalten k\u00f6nnt. Auch der Belegung des Umkehrschubs ist etwas kryptisch und Honeycomb selbst liefert hier leider keine Infos mit, sodass ihr entweder selbst herumprobieren m\u00fcsst oder \u2013 besser – ein externes Tutorial zu Rate ziehen solltet, von denen es im Internet bereits einige gibt.

Auch zweimotorige Turboprop- und Propellermaschinen k\u00f6nnen bedient werden. \u00a9 4P\/Screenshot<\/div>\n<\/div>\nSch\u00f6n ist, dass der Autopilot automatisch richtig belegt ist und man die jeweiligen Funktionen \u00fcber die Taster ausw\u00e4hlen kann sowie die Drehregler auch zur Auswahl des Steuerkurses oder der Flugh\u00f6he nutzen kann. Leider wird hier aber der gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6gliche Schritt gew\u00e4hlt, sodass ihr zur Feinjustierung ggf doch noch im Cockpit klicken m\u00fcsst. Ebenfalls zu beachten gilt, dass ihr einen derzeit nur \u00fcber den deutschen Vertriebspartner Aerosoft zu beziehenden Sondertreiber installieren m\u00fcsst, damit alle Lampen am Bravo Quadranten funktionieren. Dieser ist jedoch auch auf der offiziellen Homepage von Honeycomb verlinkt, sodass auch hier kein Problem entsteht. Auch mit X-Plane, Prepare 3D und FSX ist der Bravo Throttle Quadrant kompatibel \u2013 hier stellt Honeycomb auch Treiber auf der offiziellen Homepage zur Verf\u00fcgung. Im Test haben wir uns allerdings auf den Microsoft Flight Simulator konzentriert.\n\n

Fazit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nDer Bravo Throttle Quadrant von Honeycomb ist eine richtig gute Kombination aus Schubhebel und Schalter-Panel, das optisch hervorragend zu den Alpha Flight Controls passt und \u00e4hnlich wie das Steuerhorn zudem eine Marktl\u00fccke schlie\u00dft. F\u00fcr 250 Euro bekommt ihr ein wertig verarbeitetes, frei konfigurierbares und multifunktional nutzbares Ger\u00e4t, welches sowohl VFR mit einer Cessna als auch Langstrecke mit einem Airliner realistischer macht. Vor allem die umfangreichen zus\u00e4tzlichen Funktionen wie LED-Anzeigen, Klappen- und Fahrwerkhebel, Kippschalter und Trimmrad sowie das hervorragend nutzbare Autopiloten-Panel heben den Throttle Quadrant dabei von der Konkurrenz von Thrustmaster und Co. ab, w\u00e4hrend das Stecksystem f\u00fcr die Schubhebel diverse Einsatz-Variationen erm\u00f6glicht. Wer die kleinen Schw\u00e4chen und die etwas umst\u00e4ndlichere Einrichtung des Ger\u00e4tes in Kauf nehmen kann, bekommt richtig gute Hardware f\u00fcr alle zivilen Flugsimulationen.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
