Knallbuntes Versteckspiel<\/strong>
Als ich mich zum ersten Mal ins bunte Chaos st\u00fcrzte, verstand ich nur Bahnhof: Was zum Kuckuck sind \u201eSonar Ripples\u201c, warum entstehen sie aus \u201eSonar Pings\u201c, wie zum Geier kann ich meine Gegner angreifen und warum kassiere ich schon nach drei Sekunden mein erstes \u201eGame Over\u201c? Schuld daran sind die un\u00fcbersichtlichen Men\u00fcs und vor allem der Overkill an Fachbegriffen, mit dem der japanische Entwickler Art Co. sein Spiel vollgestopft hat.<\/p>\n

Hab ich euch! Sobald die feindlichen Biester enttarnt wurden, geht es ihnen mit dem Laser an den Kragen.<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/figure><\/figure>\n
Wenn man sich davon nicht in Bockshorn jagen l\u00e4sst, ist es aber ganz einfach: Auf dem Touchscreen zerst\u00f6re ich die Tarnung meiner Gegner und auf dem oberen Bildschirm gebe ich ihnen mit meiner Strahlenkanone den Rest. Auf dem 3D-Screen findet die Action statt: Mit dem Analogstick steuere ich mein Schiff und weiche wie in einem klassischen Shoot-em-up dem Projektilhagel aus. Zun\u00e4chst sind die Gegner gegen meine Strahlenwaffe immun, also geht es auf dem Touchscreen weiter, welcher als Radar dient. Dort lege ich ihnen ein paar Minen in den Weg, welche im Rhythmus der Musik gez\u00fcndet werden. Die Schockwelle zerst\u00f6rt feindliche Schilde\u00a0 und schon kann ich die Gegner auf dem oberen Bildschirm mit dem Laser zerlegen.<\/p>\n
Multitasking in drei Dimensionen<\/strong>
Solange ich mit dem t\u00f6dlichen Lichtstrahl draufhalte, bin ich unbesiegbar. Die Energie f\u00fcr meine Waffe lade ich auf, indem ich meine Gegner auf dem Radar erfolgreich mit Minen eindecke. Im Endeffekt versuche ich also, alles und jeden m\u00f6glichst flott und geschickt auf dem Touchscreen zu markieren, damit ich kurz danach als unbesiegbarer Berserker durch das bunte Chaos rauschen kann. Mein Traumgleiter und die Widersacher passen sich stets dem Level-Thema an: Ich k\u00e4mpfe als Delfin gegen gl\u00fchende Tiefseefische, fliege als Sternbild durchs All oder mutiere zum knisternden Atom-Logo, welches von einer Heerschar wild gewordener Windr\u00e4der angegriffen wird.<\/p>\n

Die Feuerringe aus der Tiefe des Raumes nutzen den 3D-Screen geschickt aus.<\/p><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/figure><\/figure>\n
Auch die dreidimensionalen Hintergr\u00fcnde bieten viel Abwechslung \u2013 ganz im Gegenteil zu den einfallslosen Flugrouten meiner Gegner. Letztere gleiten im Vordergrund stoisch und einfallslos auf ihren geometrischen Bahnen entlang \u2013 fast so wie in uralten Arcade-Klassikern vom Schlage eines Galaga. Immerhin lockern die Punkte-, Energie- und Extra-Symbole die Routine ein wenig auf, weil sie den 3D-Screen geschickt ausnutzen: Sie segeln mir aus der Tiefe des Raumes entgegen und m\u00fcssen im richtigen Moment aus der “Luft” gefischt werden. Auch manche Bossgegner weichen in den Hintergrund aus und decken mich von dort aus mit dicken Feuerringen ein. Nach dem Meistern eines Levels f\u00fcllt sich mein Konto mit Punkten, welche als Treibstoff f\u00fcr die Reise zu neuen Levels dienen. Durch das Erf\u00fcllen von allerlei Extra-Herausforderungen er\u00f6ffnen sich au\u00dferdem neue Routen. Wer einzelne Levels besonders schnell oder mit vielen Punkten abschlie\u00dfen m\u00f6chte, kann das im Free Play- oder Time Attack-Modus versuchen \u2013 leider nur mit lokalen Score-Listen.
