Wollt ihr mal wissen, wie es zum Anti-Spank kam? Man h\u00e4tte ihn ja ganz leicht verhindern k\u00f6nnen. Die Lage war so: DeathSpank hatte die Welt errettet, mal wieder. Alle sechs Unterhosen aus Teil zwei befanden sich – Spoiler!! – in seinem Besitz, das B\u00f6se war besiegt, erledigt, niedergerungen, \u00fcberredet. Und DeathSpank? Den plagte die Langeweile. Ein Held ohne Gegenspieler… was tun? Fernsehen? Videospiele? N\u00e4. Alle sechs Unterhosen auf einmal anziehen? Das ist es!

Klasse Comedy<\/strong>

Und schwupp: DeathSpank erschuf den Anti-Spank. Muss man nicht verstehen. Ist aber so. Vor allem aber ist es unverfroren komisch, wenn Hothead Games seinem Klamaukhelden auch zum dritten Mal ein so loses Mundwerk verpasst, dass die Fernseher der Freunde des gesitteten Wortwitzes den Beschuss mit Freudenspucke erdulden m\u00fcssen – k\u00f6stlich! [GUI_PLAYER(ID=75699,width=525,text=Nur mal so als Vorgeschmack – hier sind ein paar der Durchgeknallten, die DeathSpank treffen wird.)] Ich halte die scharfz\u00fcngigen Anspielungen, vorgetragen aus einer Kehle vorz\u00fcglich \u00fcberspielter \u00dcberheblichkeit, nach wie vor f\u00fcr den besten Spielwitz jenseits von Edna und Harvey. Nach Fantasy und Kriegsszenario zitiert DeathSpank diesmal die Klischeekisten der Science-Fiction und nimmt das Rollenspiel im Allgemeinen und sich selbst im Besonderen auseinander. Hothead k\u00f6nnte das Monster-Pr\u00fcgeln komplett streichen – The Baconing w\u00e4re immer noch ein unterhaltsamer Volltreffer.

Ist ja auch nicht so, dass die zahlreichen Aufgaben (\u201eHau diesen um\u201c, \u201eBesorge jenes\u201c) und das ewig gleiche Tastentippen das Aush\u00e4ngeschild der Serie w\u00e4ren. Und ist schon gar nicht so, dass sich daran in der dritten Episode irgendetwas \u00e4ndern w\u00fcrde. Im Gegenteil: Es gibt genau zwei Neuerungen. So kann DeathSpank jetzt s\u00e4mtliche Gegner in der N\u00e4he mit einem druckvollen Hieb seines Schildes von sich sto\u00dfen. Und wenn er im richtigen Moment den Schild hochzieht, wirft er jetzt nicht nur direkte Attacken, sondern auch Geschosse auf Gegner zur\u00fcck. Nett. Insgesamt nat\u00fcrlich belanglos.

Knarren und Dreschflegel<\/strong>

Auch das kooperative Gekloppe wurde erweitert: Willige Mitspieler w\u00e4hlen ab sofort aus vier statt zwei Charakteren. Die kann man erneut nicht entwickeln und sie besitzen wie immer keine eigene Gesundheitsanzeige, sondern nutzen die eine globale. Witzig ist es schon, wenn sich ein Kumpel einen der Handlanger schnappt. Mehr aber auch nicht. Schade, dass Hothead auch die gewohnt unhandliche Inventarfummelei gewohnt unhandlich l\u00e4sst.

Laune macht das ja! Die \u00fcbersichtliche Entwicklung von DeathSpanks F\u00e4higkeiten (mit jedem Stufenaufstieg darf man einen Wert verbessern) passt zum harmlosen Kloppmisten und das Knarrensammeln und Dreschflegelhorten spornt an. Vier Waffen packt man in beliebiger Zusammenstellung auf vier Angriffstasten – weil man auch den Schild hochrei\u00dfen und Spezialangriffe ausf\u00fchren darf, hat man gegen die bissigen B\u00f6sen so alle H\u00e4nde voll zu tun. Hin und wieder lockert ein wenig Denksport die Daueraction auf, immer und jederzeit gibt es irgendwo auf der Landkarte etwas zu erledigen. Manchmal tut es schon ein Foto, das geflissentliche Aufgabenstellerzufriedensteller am richtigen Ort knipsen m\u00fcssen. Die schr\u00e4gen Pappaufsteller geben ohnehin mal wieder vorz\u00fcgliche Kulissen ab.
