Der B\u00fcrgermeister von Ninjatown will den Invasoren Kuchen anbieten und rei\u00dft die Stadtmauern ein, der von euch verk\u00f6rperte Meisterninja hat all seine F\u00e4higkeiten vergessen und euer Berater belegt jede triviale Feststellung gleich mit einer umfassenden Studie. Kein Wunder, dass jeder erfolgreiche Einsatz von einem tollpatschigen R\u00fcckschlag \u00fcberschattet wird…

Doch schusselige Kameraden hin, chaotische Zust\u00e4nde her, es herrscht Krieg und ihr m\u00fcsst ihn gewinnen. Dazu errichtet ihr auf geeigneten Baupl\u00e4tzen Behausungen, die nach ihrer Fertigstellung kampflustige Ninjas beheimaten, die vorbei ziehenden Gegnern mit Schl\u00e4gen oder Wurfgeschossen Saures geben. Insgesamt gibt es acht stufenweise aufr\u00fcstbare Ninjaklassen, wie den gegen Statusver\u00e4nderungen immunen Wee-Ninja, den aufgrund seiner Koffeinsucht rasend schnellen Business-Ninja, den Angreifer einfrierenden Wei\u00df-Ninja oder den brandstiftenden Lava-Ninja. Je nach Gegnerwelle sind bestimmte Klassen mehr oder weniger effektiv bzw. komplett unn\u00fctz, da fliegende Invasoren z. B. nur von Ninjas mit Distanzwaffen angegriffen werden k\u00f6nnen. Da ihr nachr\u00fcckende Feinde bereits vor deren Eintreffen angezeigt bekommt, ist jedoch meist genug Zeit, um entsprechend zu reagieren. F\u00fcr schnelle Strategen gibt es auch eine Wartezeiten verk\u00fcrzende Vorspulfunktion.

Ausgewogene Taktikkost<\/STRONG>

Eine gewisse Portion Trial & Error schwingt zwar bei jeder neuen Mission mit, sorgt aber nur selten f\u00fcr Frust, da sich Geb\u00e4ude in Nullkommanix abrei\u00dfen sowie aufbauen lassen und die Spielzeit der einzelnen Abschnitte nicht sehr lang ist. Auch der Schwierigkeitsgrad verlangt euch nicht allzu viel ab, so dass auch Neulinge schnell ins Spiel finden. Solltet ihr euch doch einmal die Z\u00e4hne an einem Level ausbei\u00dfen, bietet euch das Programm eine leichtere Variante der aktuellen Stufe an.\u00a0

Auch nachdem ihr alle Eins\u00e4tze gemeistert habt, gibt es keine h\u00f6here Stufe oder andere Extras. Zumindest bekommt ihr je nach Leistung ein entsprechendes Ranking, das ihr durch sp\u00e4tere Wiederholungen gegebenenfalls verbessern k\u00f6nnt – eine spezielle Belohnung gibt es daf\u00fcr aber nicht.

Beim Spielspa\u00df liegen beide Titel trotz sehr unterschiedlicher Ans\u00e4tze aber gleich auf, wobei die Ninjak\u00e4mpfe deutlich k\u00fcrzer und einfacher sind.

Fazit<\/strong><\/h3>Ninjatown ist eine originelle und humorvolle Adaption des Tower Defense-Genres, bei der ihr gegnerischen Angriffswellen nicht mit Artilleriefeuer, sondern mit Martial Arts-Geschick begegnet. Zwar wird hin und wieder auch geschossen, aber in erster Linie stampft ihr bewohnte Ninjah\u00fctten aus dem Boden, errichtet Unterst\u00fctzungsgeb\u00e4ude und setzt spezielle Items und F\u00e4higkeiten ein, um die Gegner am Erreichen von Zielpunkten zu hindern. Solisten d\u00fcrfen sich auf 36, gesellige Naturen immerhin auf neun (Multikartenspiel) bzw. 3 Karten (Einzelkartenspiel) austoben. Im Multiplayer k\u00e4mpft ihr jedoch nicht mit- oder gegeneinander, sondern jeder f\u00fcr sich, wobei derjenige der die Angriffswellen schneller aufreibt, gewinnt. Zufallslevels oder einen Leveleditor sucht ihr zwar ebenso vergeblich wie die freie Wahl eines Schwierigkeitsgrades, aber Handhabung, Spielbalance und Motivation sind durchgehend auf hohem Niveau. Die vorwiegend kurzen Eins\u00e4tze eignen sich zudem hervorragend\u00a0als taktische Zwischenmahlzeit.
