Die Voraussetzungen sind einfach: Nachdem sich Spieler 1 dazu durchgerungen hat, knapp 20 Euro zu investieren, st\u00fclpt er sich das VR-Headset \u00fcber, startet eine Lobby und gibt deren Nummer an seine Freunde weiter. Die laden sich die rund 165 MB kleine, kostenlose App herunter und landen nach Eingabe der Zahl auf dem passenden Server. Eine Verbindung zum WLAN oder einigerma\u00dfen fl\u00fcssigem mobilem Internet ist nat\u00fcrlich Pflicht, aber dann kann es auch schon losgehen. Eine Eiche mit VR-Headset und zwei bis acht Eichh\u00f6rnchen m\u00fcssen allerdings dabei sein, damit die Runde starten kann. Matchmaking oder Einzelspieler-Modi fehlen leider komplett \u2013 es gibt lediglich ein kleines Tutorial f\u00fcr den Baum.
Hat man sich zusammengefunden, entfesselt sich auf Anhieb ein verbissener Wettlauf mit schnellen Haken und erstaunlich knappen Endphasen. Die Eichh\u00f6rnchen m\u00fcssen die vorm Baum liegenden Eicheln stibitzen. Der beginnt sofort wild mit den Armen zu rudern, um den Diebstahl zu verhindern. Er schleudert kleine Steine, fettere Felsbrocken und ausbremsendes Harz auf die Angreifer \u2013 was mit Oculus Touch oder den Vive-Controllern erfreulich pr\u00e4zise funktioniert! Wer als Baum einen chronischen Muskelkater f\u00fcrchtet, sollte lieber ab und zu das Headset weiterreichen und dann selbst auf dem Smartphone als Nager weiterspielen.

Die kleinen St\u00f6renfriede werden mit dem virtuellen Analogstick und einfacher Touchscreen-Kn\u00f6pfchen bedient. Nach kurzer Gew\u00f6hnung wuselt man flink \u00fcber die H\u00fcgel, schmei\u00dft Pilz-Trampoline vor gr\u00f6\u00dfere H\u00fcrden – und landet immer wieder in der riesigen Hand der Eiche, die einen w\u00fctend in den Abgrund schleudert. Spezialf\u00e4higkeiten wie ein Schild oder schnelles Rennen erweisen sich als n\u00fctzlich und wirken bereits recht sinnvoll ausbalanciert.
Das Holzschild des fetten Nagers z.B. h\u00e4lt einigen W\u00fcrfen der Eiche stand, so dass man sich langsam hinter eine Biegung begeben kann, um dort in einen sicheren Tunnel zur Basis schl\u00fcpfen. Mit etwas Pech flutscht man auch mal am falschen Ende in eine H\u00f6hle und buddelt sich zur\u00fcck zum Baum \u2013 ein lustiges Detail, das die Matches noch in letzter Sekunde umdrehen kann. Gebuddelt werden die G\u00e4nge von einer anderen der vier Klassen. Die letzte davon baut an Fortnite erinnernde Holzrampen, mit der man den Baum aus der H\u00f6he \u00fcberrascht \u2013 ebenfalls sehr n\u00fctzlich. Eine Hand voll Karten aus der Rotation sorgen daf\u00fcr, dass sich manchmal der Baum etwas mehr anstrengen muss und dann wieder die H\u00f6rnchen.
Auf einem Serpentinenweg am Rande eines Hangs m\u00fcssen die Diebe erst einmal einen schnellen R\u00fcckweg erschaffen. Rund um einen Teich sorgt ein sinkender und steigender Wasserspiegel f\u00fcr Panik. Wenn man beim Start zu viele Teilnehmer ausw\u00e4hlt, werden fehlende Mitspieler \u00fcbrigens mit Bots aufgef\u00fcllt – mindestens zwei “menschliche Eichh\u00f6rnchen” sind allerdings Pflicht! Die Fassungen f\u00fcr Oculus Rift, Rift S, Vive und Quest unterscheiden sich \u00fcbrigens kaum: Die einfach gehaltene aber sympathische Comic-Grafik lief auf jeglicher PC-Hardware fl\u00fcssig \u2013 auch mit einer GeForce GTX 970 oder den beteiligen Smartphones (iPhone 7, Samsung S8, Huawei Nova). Die Beschr\u00e4nkung auf Englisch ist hier nicht weiter schlimm, da Text ohnehin kaum eine Rolle spielt.<\/p>\n\n

So simpel und doch so fesselnd: Schon auf der Gamescom hatte ich so viel Spa\u00df an Acron, dass ich einfach einen Test dazu bringen musste: Das Prinzip bringt einsame VR-Spieler wieder mit ihren Freunden zusammen, die schlie\u00dflich sowieso den halben Tag auf ihrem Smartphone herumwischen. Auch die M\u00f6glichkeiten der Bewegungs-Controller werden auf geschickte Weise eingebunden. Als Baum lassen sich die Gesteinsbrocken erfreulich pr\u00e4zise auf die unversch\u00e4mten Angreifer schleudern, die ein kleines Repertoire sinnvoller Spezialf\u00e4higkeiten einsetzen. Da der Baum stets wie angewurzelt an seinem Platz bleibt, k\u00f6nnen sogar Personen mit extrem empfindlichem Magen mitmachen. Der einzige gro\u00dfe Nachteil ist der allgegenw\u00e4rtige Minimalismus: Es gibt nur eine Hand voll Maps und Klassen, kein Online-Matchmaking, keinen Einzelspieler-Part, keine alternativen Modi oder Herausforderungen. Vorm Kauf solltet ihr also unbedingt abkl\u00e4ren, ob ein paar Freunde mitmachen. Alternativ m\u00fcsst ihr euch ganz klassisch in Foren oder mit Discord Mitspieler suchen. F\u00fcr ein paar Runden zwischendurch ist Acron aber eines der lustigsten Party-Spiele f\u00fcr VR!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
