Der eitle Katana-K\u00fcnstler schlitzt blitzschnell, schl\u00e4gt mit den Beowulf-F\u00e4ustlingen derb zu und hat nat\u00fcrlich auch eine Fernkampf-Schussattacke; diese f\u00fchlt sich aber wesentlich kraftloser an als die Bleispucker von Dante und Nero. Beim Devil-Trigger-Angriff beschw\u00f6rt er einen Doppelg\u00e4nger, f\u00fcr manchen Finisher holt er sich kurze Unterst\u00fctzung von V – und stylisch-schnell per Teleport ausweichen kann er auch noch. Kurzum: Geht gut ab mit Vergil! Im Modus Blutiger Palast ist er \u00fcbrigens auch verf\u00fcbar. Kurze Anmerkung f\u00fcr alle Besitzer der PS4-, Xbox-One- oder PC-Fassung: Daf\u00fcr soll Vergil im Dezember als 5-Euro-DLC erscheinen; ein Upgrade zur PS5- bzw. Series-S\/X-Version bzw. einen (technischen nat\u00fcrlich m\u00f6glichen) PC-Patch mit allen Inhalten der Special Edition bietet Capom leider nicht an.\n

Die linke Bildh\u00e4lfte stammt aus der Xbox-One-Version, die rechte aus der PS5-Fassung. \u00a9 4P\/Screenshot<\/div>\n<\/div>\nNeu ist der Turbo-Modus, der circa 20% Spielgeschwindigkeit addiert – er kann jederzeit im Men\u00fc aktiviert werden. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad \u201eLegend\u00e4rer Schwarzer Ritter\u201c sorgt nicht nur f\u00fcr eine gerenell \u00fcppige Schwierigkeit, sondern dreht die Zahl der Feinde kr\u00e4ftig nach oben – ist spielerisch also ein interessanterer Special-Edition-Zusatz als der blo\u00dfe Turbo-Modus. Die adaptiven Trigger des PS5-Controllers nutzt Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition leider nicht – der Rumble-Genuss unterscheidet sich auf PS5 damit nicht von dem auf der Xbox Series X. Wieder mit an Bord sind die Mikrotransaktionen, die Capcom im Spiel zwar nicht aggressiv bewirbt, aber doch recht hinterlistig einbaut: M\u00f6chte man etwas kaufen, f\u00fcr das die Ingame-W\u00e4hrung nicht reicht – springt man mit nur einem Knopfdruck sofort zum jeweiligen Store. Und soll dort dann blaue Kugeln (f\u00fcr mehr Leben) oder rote Orbs (zum Aufleveln) erwerben. Unsch\u00f6n sind auch die alternativen Farben f\u00fcr V und Vergil f\u00fcr zwei Euro und schon allein der Name des 9,99 Euro teuren Add-ons \u201eBundle: Alle Freischaltungen im Spiel\u201c. Soll hei\u00dfen: F\u00fcr zehn \u00d6cken kann man sich das m\u00fchsame (aber am Ende vielleicht spa\u00dfige) Freispielen der Super-Charaktere und des Taunt-Quartetts sparen\u2026\n

In grafischer Hinsicht beeindruckt mich die \u00dcberarbeitung dieses ohnehin h\u00fcbschen und ja nicht sonderlich alten Spiels nicht: Glei\u00dfendere Effekte hier, etwas sch\u00f6nere Reflektionen auf dem Asphalt da – plus st\u00e4rkere Hell-Dunkel-Kontraste, die das Gesamtbild auf PS5 und Xbox Series X dramatischer wirken lassen als auf den alten Ger\u00e4ten. Wer das Spiel im 4K-Betrieb laufen l\u00e4sst, kann sich zwischen 30 fps mit Raytracing und 60 fps ohne Raytracing entscheiden. Stellt man die Konsole hingegen auf 1080p, \u00e4ndert sich das Optionsmen\u00fc im Spiel: Dann gibt es dort auch 60 Bilder pro Sekunde mit aktiviertem Raytracing.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Fazit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nIch war schon im letzten Jahr nicht gerade schockverliebt in dieses sehr klassische Spielerlebnis und w\u00fcnschte mir Ninja Theory als Entwicklerstudio zur\u00fcck. F\u00fcr mich h\u00e4tte es den erneuten Release als Special Edition also nicht gebraucht – zumal das grafische Upgrade \u00fcberschaubar ausf\u00e4llt. Bisschen h\u00fcbscher, bisschen fl\u00fcssiger, bisschen raytraciger – aber die Grafik war 2019 ziemlich schick und an der Geometrie von Welt und Feinden schraubt die Special Edition leider nicht. Klasse sind die beinahe nicht mehr vorhandenen Ladezeiten und Vergil als zus\u00e4tzlicher Charakter, weniger sexy die immer noch unsch\u00f6nen Mikrotransaktionen und dass die adaptiven Trigger des PS5-Pads nicht zur Geltung kommen. Einen erneuten Kauf w\u00fcrde ich daher nur extremen Liebhabern des Spiels empfehlen.
