Das ist enttäuschend: Nachdem man satte anderthalb Minuten lang einen Spielstand geladen hat, setzt der Ton gleich mehrmals für den Bruchteil einer Sekunde aus, das Bild kommt kurz ins Stocken – während der Missionsbeschreibungen im Anflug auf ein Zielgebiet ist der akustische Dauerschluckauf besonders ärgerlich. Dass die Bildrate von einer Zahl wie 60 nur träumt, ist im Genre der Rundentaktik verschmerzbar. Doch für unseren Test stand vor allem die Frage im Raum, wie sehr die technischen Mängel das beeinflussen, was am PC ein großartiger Kampf gegen außerirdische Besatzer war.
