Die Menschheit hat die Vampire besiegt. Oder doch nicht? Ihr erhaltet in V Rising die Chance, eure untoten Blutsbrüder und -schwestern zu rächen. Ist euer Charakter einmal im überschaubaren Editor erstellt, schießt der Sargdeckel nach oben und ihr betretet nach langem Schlaf wieder die Welt der Lebenden. Doch bis zur ultimativen Herrschaft ist es noch ein weiter Weg nach oben. Es mag euch als Herrschende natürlich unwürdig erscheinen, aber ohne Leibeigene müsst ihr am Anfang selbst Bäume fällen und Steine zerhauen. Das furchteinflößende Schloss bleibt erstmal Zukunftsmusik, zunächst müsst ihr euch mit einer simplen Holzhütte zufriedengeben. Währenddessen könnt ihr die Blutfährten zu bestimmten Endgegnern aufnehmen. Diese winken nicht nur mit schweißtreibenden Kämpfen, sondern auch mit wertvollen Erfahrungspunkten und nützlichen Blaupausen.

Und das ist – oberflächlich betrachtet – das gesamte Spielprinzip von V Rising. Bevor wir aber nun ins Detail gehen und euch sagen, womit das Spiel alles trumpfen kann, sagen wir euch, was es nicht enthält: Erwartet keine Geschichte, keine Verschwörungen, keine Wendungen, keine interessanten Charaktere, keine vampirischen Monologe über Macht, kein dramatisches Aufeinandertreffen zwischen Lebenden und Toten. V Rising ist ein reines Gameplay-Spiel. Der Spaß definiert sich durch euren Größenwahn und euer böses Kichern, während ihr genauso böse Pläne schmiedet. Es definiert sich durch das titelgebende “Rising”, nämlich mit absolut nichts anzufangen und am Ende alles zu besitzen. Aber das braucht Geduld und viel Organisation. Und viel Respekt vor dem Tageslicht, das euch in die Defensive zwingt.

    Die einen bauen, die anderen sammeln und ein letzter dekoriert und gemeinsam geht man dann die Bosse an!
    Aber wir sind ohnehin Freunde von Survival-Aufbauspielen. :)
    jap, empfand ich auch so. Wirklich mal was anderes und ich fand das auch kein bisschen monoton, da es echt stimmungsvoll ist. 8)

  4. Es ist okay.
    Problem ist einfach das es sehr schnell alles nach Schema F läuft.
    Upgrades und Zauber hängen an Bossen.
    und je weiter man sich vor arbeitet desto weiter sind die Wege also Teleporter und Neue Basen.
    Habs im 4er COOP gespielt aber es wird einfach monoton.
    Die Bosskämpfe sind echt nice aber der geradlinige Fortschrittspfad macht das Spiel schnell langweilig.

    Trotzdem sehr erfrischend. Dachte am Anfang genauso wie du, aber im Coop ist das spiel schon sehr geil auch das Mikro Management und die Gameplayelemente sind sehr erfrischend. Das Game macht sehr vieles richtig und ist definitiv einen Blick wert.
    Für mich is das Game eine 89 :mrgreen:
