Arcade-Modus:

Hier kann der Spieler sein Können auf insgesamt acht verschiedenen Pisten gegen drei Kontrahenten unter Beweis stellen. Dabei läuft die Zeit, die aber nur eine geringe Rolle spielt, weil eine gute Platzierung und die dementsprechende Punktzahl wichtiger sind. Trotzdem sollte man die ablaufende Zeit nicht vernachlässigen, denn wenn man den Checkpoint in der vorgegeben Zeit nicht erreicht, muss man einen der drei Credits opfern. Hat man keine mehr, ist das Spiel zu Ende.
Durch das erfolgreiche Absolvieren der Etappen erhält man wieder einen Bonuswagen. Oftmals hat der Spieler die Möglichkeit einen alternativen Weg zu fahren. Das spahrt viel Zeit und steigert die Chance auf eine 1. Platzierung. Allerdings muss man während der Fahrt genau hinschauen um die Abzweigungen rechtzeitig zu erkennen.

Trophy-Modus:

Im Trophy-Modus herrschen andere Regeln als im Arcade-Modus. Hier kommt man nur weiter, wenn der Spieler alles gibt und nach jeder Runde auf Platz 1 ist. Der Spieler rast gegen seine CPU-Kontrahenten und muss die Bestzeit fahren. Hier gibt es keine Punkteverteilung; die Rennzeiten werden addiert.
Wer nach den ganzen Etappen die schnellste Zeit hat, kann sich mit einem Goldpokal rühmen.

Championship-Modus:

Alle Fans “echter” Rallye-Simulation können aufatmen. Neben den anderen Modi gibt es noch den Championship-Modus. Dieser ist komplett an eine echte Rallye angelehnt.
Der Spieler muss hier alleine Etappen bewältigen und das in verschiedensten Ländern. Leichter gesagt als getan, denn es muss so manches Hindernis bewältigt werden um die Bestzeit zu erreichen: nur der Beste gewinnt das Rennen.
In jedem Land hat der Spieler zwei Strecken zu absolvieren, welche aber immer unterschiedliche Wetterbedingungen haben.
Jetzt ist Feintuning angesagt, denn nur optimale Einstellungen führen zu den besten Ergebnissen. Durch ungeschicktes Fahren nimmt das Auto auch Schaden an Lenkung, Getriebe, Federung, Bremsen und Motor. Das kostet wiederum wertvolle Zeit, da die Geschwindigkeit nicht mehr optimal ist.
Zum Glück gibt es nach jeder Etappe die Möglichkeit seinen Wagen in der Werkstatt reparieren zu lassen. Aber Achtung: sobald der Mechaniker anfängt zu reparieren werden Strafsekunden auf die eigene Bestzeit addiert. Das könnte dem Spieler eventuell das Siegertreppchen kosten.
