Fazit

Mission fehlgeschlagen! Der Frontalangriff auf die Taktik-Shooter ist The Regiment nicht geglückt. Im Vergleich zu SWAT 4 und Raven Shield fällt vor allem die minimalistische Team-Steuerung negativ auf, da eure Kollegen auf Befehl nur Türen öffnen können. Ansonsten laufen die computergesteuerten Einsatzkräfte reaktionsschnell hinter euch her und verhalten sich im Kampf durchaus akzeptabel, wenn sie nicht gerade in der Schusslinie verweilen. Ein großer Fauxpas für alle Taktik-Fans ist außerdem, dass das Team weder aufgestellt noch ausgerüstet werden kann und auch die Planung des Einsatzes linear vorgegeben ist. Das nervtötende und unnötig harte Zeitlimit zwingt die Spieler letztendlich zu einem überstürzten Speed-Kill-Run durch die karge Kulisse und somit werden alle taktischen Ambitionen begraben. Als Taktikspiel ist The Regiment unbrauchbar und als Team-Action-Shooter nur leidlich unterhaltsam.

  1. Naja, es gibt schlechtere Spiele. Aber in der Tat. An den Simulationswert von Ravenshield oder die Action von Ghost Recon kommen die nicht ran. Hätten vielleicht lieber einen SAS-MOD für Ghost Recon machen sollen, wenns den schon nicht gibt ;)

    Zum einen schreibt ihr \"solide KI\" zum andern \"KI mit häufig auftretenden Schwächen\". Also was denn jetzt?? Mehr gute oder schlechte KI?
