Fazit

Schon wieder ein Highlight des Spieldesigns aus Polen: Superhot beweist, wie viel Spaß ein einfaches, aber cleveres Konzept machen kann! Das Beschleunigen und  Abbremsen der Zeit schafft eine ganz eigene Dynamik, die durch viele coole Tricks wie das Entwaffnen oder Betäuben mit Wurfgegenständen verfeinert wurde. Ist das überhaupt noch ein Shooter? Eher ein Puzzlespiel! Oder doch Geschicklichkeit? Gute Reaktionen und vorausschauende Attacken spielen hier schließlich eine wichtige Rolle. Im Endeffekt ist es aber gerade dieser Mangel an Trennschärfe, der das Spiel so spannend macht, zumal das kleine Team auch einen schönen Weg gefunden hat, den grafischen Minimalismus in eine Hacker-Geschichte einzubetten. Negativ sind mir nur technische Kleinigkeiten, die kurze Spielzeit von gut zwei Stunden und die manchmal unfair hinter dem Rücken spawnenden Gegner aufgefallen. Trotzdem ist Superhot aber ein faszinierender Shooter für Experimentierfreudige!

    Wenn's die Linux-Version auf Disc und mit ohne Account-BDSM gäbe, würde ich dafür gerne 10-15uroz rauswringen, aber so... nee, hau mich ab damit.

  2. Ich glaube nicht dass man eine Art Preis/Leisungverhältnis in eine Bewertung einbeziehen sollte.
    Es ist überall zu lesen dass das Spiel kurz ist. Jeder kann selber entscheiden wie viel es einem wert ist.
    Es gibt immer irgendwelche Sales.
    Wenn in einem Jahr der empfohlene Preis gesenkt wird müssen alle Reviews angepasst werden?
    --> Unmöglich machbar.
    Ich persönlich habe lieber 3h was vollständig anderes (Stanley Parable war göttlich, Pony Island ist toll) als schon wieder 30h das x-te Zelda (die ich auch alle sehr gerne (auch mehrmals) spiele wohlgemerkt).

  3. Und da macht es Bock, bei Far Cry bspw. macht ja nix wirklich Bock, weil schon tausend Mal dagewesen ...
    Aber Vergleiche sind eh doof, das Spielprinzip ist einfach originell. Zuerst dachte ich mir, "ach du scheiße ... ja gut, bisschen hier und da ausweichen und abschießen, wie schwierig ... " aber dann ging's los, keine Waffe, überall Gegner, größere Levels ...
    Am geilsten fand ich die Stelle wo soviele Nahkämpfer um einen rumstehen, das sieht dann nachher wirklich aus wie Jackie Chan, dazu das herrlich entwaffnen und aufgreifen der Waffen. Oder wo man auf dem Klo anfängt und dann in die "Bar" geht. Schon gut gemacht ^^ Ne vernünftige Optik wäre allerdings doch schon besser, als diese kantigen Figuren. Das ist etwas schade.

    Nimm mal aus den ganzen AAA-Titeln wie Far Cry Primal den Sammelkram und den ganzen Zeitschinde-Mist raus, dann kommst du auch nur auf 3 Stunden reines Gameplay. Bei SuperHot ist es eben absolut komprimiert. :D

  5. Ich habe nun für den Katana-Durchgang länger gebraucht als für den Story-Modus.
    Offensichtlich ist es noch nicht ganz klar geworden: Der Story-Modus ist nur ein Aspekt des Spiels... nach dem Ende geht es noch weiter, und man kann länger als nur 3 Stunden damit Spaß haben. Wer unbedingt nur den Story-Modus spielen will, schaut dann zwar in die Röhre, hat aber auch Pech gehabt.
