Nicht umsonst gibt es einen separat wählbaren Modus, in dem ihr als Kameramann auf jede wackelnde Körperpartie zoomen könnt, um das Frauendesign in seiner ganzen Pracht zu genießen.

Der Rest der Grafik bleibt zwar genau so hinter dem Standard zurück wie die hanebüchenen Geschichten, die versuchen, die Kämpfe miteinander zu verbinden, doch letzten Endes hat man sowieso nur ein Auge für die prallen Kämpferinnen im Ring.

Gekämpft werden darf auch. Doch eigentlich macht das Zuschauen mehr Spaß…
Pflichttitel?

Natürlich habe ich bedauert, dass sich Rumble Roses nicht durch eine ausufernde Spielmodi-Auswahl auszeichnet. Doch auch wenn man die Einzelkämpfe nur dann anwählt, wenn man einem Freund oder Bekannten mit seinen ureigenen Fantasien konfrontieren will, ist man mit den Storys gut zehn bis fünfzehn Stunden beschäftigt, um alle Figuren und alle Galerien freizuspielen.

Auch die phänomenal trashige Soundkulisse, die abseits der Musiken kaum Anlass zur Freude gibt, hätte ich mir besser vorstellen können. Doch dann schaue ich mir den Einmarsch eines gerade freigespielten Charakters an und bin wieder entschädigt.
Ja: Die Rumble Roses sprechen eher Instinkte als Intellekt an. Und ja: Das Spiel mit seiner Freundin/Frau/Lebensgefährtin zu spielen, dürfte nicht die erhoffte Wirkung zeigen. Und auch ja: Spielerisch wird man eher durch den Schwierigkeitsgrad als durch die gut funktionierende Steuerung gefordert.

Aber: Wer sich gerne mit (sei es auch nur virtuellen) weiblichen Reizen umgibt, findet mit Rumble Roses einen Spielplatz par execellence. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger.

  1. Okay, zugegeben das Spiel ist nicht dr Hit aber die Mädels.....hmmmmmm. An alle Kritkiker - warum beschäftigt ihr euch mit dem Spiel wenn ihr es dann doch nur runterredet? Wenn mir ein Game nicht gefällt habs ichs im nächsten Moment auch schon wieder vergessen - außer MERCENARIES, die größte Enttäuschung de s Jahres

    Entschuldigt aber das Spiel ist einfach niveaulos und so sollte man es auch beschreiben.
    Ich weiß ja nicht wie alt ihr seit, aber schreit ihr vorm spielen: \"Yeh Polygonbrüste und Haut die wie Plastik aussieht......\"
    Und was türnt euch an einer Frau an die auf einem Stuhl sitzt und eine Fieberthermometer im Maul hat?
