Das Problem mit den Track-Limits

Neben Rennen gibt es zudem noch den Breakout-Modus, in dem man Punkte sammelt indem man Kistenstapel über den Haufen fährt. Zudem gibt es Pace-Setter und Hotlap-Varianten, die mit ihren strikten Regeln nerven: Kommt man kurzzeitig außerhalb der sogenannten Track-Limits oder streift eine Leitplanke, wird die Rundenzeit sofort ungültig.

Schon das nervt in einem Arcade-Racer ohne Rückspul-Funktion – aber da man bei einer Hotlap nur eine einzige Runde zur Verfügung hat (anstatt etwa die erste gültige Runde zu werten), ist man gezwungen die Veranstaltung komplett neu zu starten, was gleich zwei Ladezeiten mit sich bringt. Das wird besonders nervig, wenn die Track Limits nicht eins zu eins den realen Streckengrenzen entsprechen – insbesondere bei Kurven mit breiten Curbs, die in der Realität komplett genutzt werden können. So werden Zeiten oft blödsinnig negiert, was enervierende Wiederholungen eines mäßig spannenden Events nach sich zieht.

Außerdem ist schade, dass es auch in den frei erstellbaren Events gar keine Boxenstops mehr gibt und das Reifenmodell zudem überhaupt keine Rolle mehr spielt. Wärme, Abnutzung und sogar Regen haben keinen realistischen Einfluss auf das Fahrverhalten. Immerhin gibt es aber überhaupt ein dynamisches Wettersystem, verschiedene Jahreszeiten und Tag-Nacht-Wechsel mit konfigurierbarer Zeitbeschleunigung. Das ist aber auch kein Wunder: All das konnte ohne große Anpassung aus dem Vorgänger übernommen werden. 

Der Regen verwandelt die Strecken in der Karriere zudem innerhalb von Sekunden in Sturzbäche, die ähnlich wenig Grip bieten wie eine Eisfläche. 


Das ist hauptsächlich nervig, zumal das eigentlich sehr coole Pfützensystem aus Project CARS 2 übernommen wurde. Da sich das Wasser aber quasi sofort und nicht über einige Minuten bildet, kann man sich überhaupt nicht auf die wechselnden Streckenbedingungen einstellen sondern fliegt mit Wheel und entsprechend nervösem Auto im Zweifelsfall direkt ab oder spürt mit Controller kaum eine Auswirkung der Wasseransammlungen. Immerhin wird die Rennlinie innerhalb kürzester Zeit wieder trocken gefahren. Das ist zwar gut gemeint, bezogen auf die Realität ist dieses System in einem Drei-Runden-Rennen aber wirklich völliger Blödsinn.

    ok, mache ich. dennoch ging dieser extreme tiefschalg vom gegenüber aus. könnte man sehen wenn er es denn bei einem der beiden versuche geschafft hätte meinen post zu verlinken. ich wundere mich auch darüber, dass er sich sowas über monate hinweg merkt um es mir bei gelegenheit unter die nase zu reiben?... so führen beide links ins nichts und ich stehe als der böse da. ich habe damals darum gebeten den reduzieren abopreis zu bekommen weil ichs nen halben tag nicht geschafft habe fürs abo zu zahlen und danach war die aktion beendet. für mich machen 10€ eben schon was aus. nun warte ich eben aufs nächste angebot...

    lest mal bitte auch was der mir hier unterstellt. ich lebe von 200€ im monat und der typ behauptet ich hätte ein abo ablinken wollen. ihr könnt gerne mein account löschen - mit solchen leuten will ich nämlich nix zutun haben!
