Winning Eleven 5.5

Wer das Glück hatte, den japanischen Vorläufer Winning Eleven 5 zu spielen, wird mit Freude zur Kenntnis nehmen, dass sich Konami nicht auf den Lorbeeren ausgeruht hat. Das in Japan mehr als 500.000 mal verkaufte WE5 -das im Übrigen schon seit Monaten unsere Mittagspausen versüßt- dient zwar als Grundlage, wurde aber an allen Ecken und Enden überarbeitet.

So wurden z.B. an den Spielmodi gefeilt: Klar, es gibt immer noch Freundschaftsspiele. Doch jetzt ist es möglich, entweder zwei der anfänglich 53 verfügbaren Nationalmannschaften zu wählen, sich auf die 32 Vereinsmannschaften zu stürzen oder mit All-Star-Teams heiße Rasenduelle auszufechten.

Moment mal. Das sind ja zusammen nur 85 Mannschaften. Ist das nicht ein bisschen wenig im Vergleich zu den Mitbewerbern? Könnte man meinen. Stimmt aber nicht.
Denn zum einen sind die Mannschaften mehr als ausreichend, um auch die anderen verfügbaren Spielmodi (Turniere und Liga) zu spielen und zum anderen beantwortet bitte mal ehrlich die Frage, wie viele der zig Hundert Mannschaften der Konkurrenz Ihr noch nie gespielt habt…

Während Liga und Pokalmodi nichts wesentlich Neues sind, hat Pro Evolution Soccer mit dem Master League-Modus ein ganz besonderes Pferd im Stall.

Zwar wählt Ihr Euch eine der namentlich hoch bekannten Vereinsmannschaften aus, doch wenn Ihr einen Blick in den Kader werft, müsst Ihr feststellen, dass keine hochrangigen Stars auflaufen, sondern eher durchschnittliche Spieler die Stammplätze besetzt halten.

Und mit diesem Team müsst Ihr versuchen, durch zwei Ligen hindurch die besten der Welt zu schlagen? Ja und Nein!
Anfänglich werdet Ihr kaum Alternativen zu dem “No-Name-Team” haben, doch mit zunehmendem Erfolg -Ihr erhaltet für jeden Punktgewinn und jedes erzielte Tor Punkte- steigen Eure Chancen.

  1. Als alter Fusballfan musste ich natürlich so schnell als möglich auch was zum kicken für meine PS2 haben. Gesagt getan, Review gelesen (nicht hier, diese Seite kannt ich noch nicht), gekauft reingeschoben und ab gings.
    *hm* *grübel* nach nicht mal einer Stunde war ich dann ziemlich enttäuscht. Kaum ein Tor geschossen (ziemlich schwierig zu zielen), komische Spielernamen, kompliziertes Ligahandling, etc.
    So verschwand das Ding und verstaubte, bis ich mir Fifa WM 2002 gekauft habe. Das war aber so Grottenschlecht (Ruckelorgie :evil:), dass ich es gleich wieder verkauft habe (No More EA Fifa !) und dann wohl oder übel doch wieder auf mein altes eingestaubtes Soccer zurückgekommen bin.
    Doch plötzlich wusste ich all das zu schätzen, ich scorte fleissig in der Meisterliga und lernte auch Doppelpässe, Finten, Drippling, Fallrückzieher, etc...
    und jetzt find ichs nur noch eins: :D cool :D
