Fazit

Auch auf der PSP ist der Ausflug der Midnight Club-Serie ins sonnige L.A. gelungen: Bis auf vereinzelte Ruckler, kleine Grafikfehler wie Pop-Ups und Clippings sieht die Kulisse mit ihrem dynamischen Tag-/Nachtwechsel sowie Witterungsbedingungen super aus. Mit der sauberen Steuerung steht das Spielgefühl der grafischen Präsentation in nichts nach und es macht einfach Spaß, mit gezündetem Nitro oder auf zwei Rädern durch die Straßen und versteckten Abkürzungen der Stadt zu heizen. Zusammen mit der Fülle an Spielmodi, zwei Metropolen, massig Renn-Veranstaltungen und Tuning-Optionen bekommt ihr hier einen der besten Racer für Sonys Handheld. Doch genau wie schon beim Vorgänger wird der Geschwindigkeitsrausch auch hier von den häufigen und immer noch viel zu langen Ladezeiten ausgebremst. Ich habe keine Lust, vor und nach einem Rennen ewig zu warten, bis es endlich weiter geht! Schade ist zudem, dass es trotz gelungener Mehrspielermodi keine Möglichkeit gibt, auch online die mitunter enorm spaßigen Duelle auszutragen. Hier ist EA mit der Need for Speed-Serie einen Schritt weiter… Doch dafür lässt Rockstars attraktives Tuning-Paket den direkten Konkurrenten in allen anderen Bereichen weit hinter sich und teilt sich die Pole-Position höchstens zusammen mit seinem ebenfalls brillanten Vorgänger, der vor drei Jahren sogar 89% im Test absahnen konnte.

    was soll den der scheiß?? sowas als negativ punkt?? bisschen bescheuert oder?! da könnte man ja hunderte negativ punkte machen mit jedem scheiß auto das im spiel nicht vorkommt -.- echt, sowas dummes! da gibts genügen bessere, schönere, schnellere autos als so ein bepisster VW corrado!!!

    Also spätestens bei Slowdowns (Rucklern) ist ein Spiel bei mir durchgefallen. Sowas darf es auf Konsole einfach nicht geben. Wenn die Entwickler unfähig sind, das Spiel entsprechend der Leistung der Konsole anzupassen, dann kann ich denen auch nicht mehr helfen. Man kann vieles verzeichen, aber sowas nicht und leider passiert das immer wieder, egal ob Playstation, XBox, PSP oder NDS.
    Die Slowdowns sind wirklich so extrem selten, dass sie kaum ins Gewicht fallen.

    Wie gamer195 bereits erwähnt hat gibt es Cops. Entgegen seiner Aussage verfolgen diese die Fahrer aber auch (was auch im Test steht) und versuchen durch Rammaktionen das Rennen zu behindern.
    Außerdem sollte man sich - sofern man die Möglichkeit hat (Custom Firmware) - eine Kopie der UMD auf den Memory Stick dumpen wodurch sich die Ladezeiten auf 10-15 Sekunden reduzieren und den Spielfluss nicht mehr stören, Pop-Ups werden dadurch auch beseitigt.
    Ich kann nur sagen, wenn man sich die UMD auf den Memstick dumpt, ist das Spiel noch besser als es ohehin schon ist!

    ja es gibt welche zumindestens bei der psp vision vervolgen dun sie einem aberglaubendlich nicht zumindesten ist es mir noch nicht passiert fahren kanst du aber nicht als cop
