Fazit

Nein, so richtig flutscht das Quecksilber diesmal nicht übers Bild: Schon auf den ersten Blick wirkt das neue Mercury stilistisch lieblos und auf den zweiten fehlt ihm sogar die spielerische Finesse seiner Vorgänger. Klar ist es immer noch vergnüglich knifflig, die zähe Flüssigkeit durch Kippen des Bodens ins Ziel fließen zu lassen. Spätestens, wenn man den Metallklumpen in Stücke zerteilt, treibt das selbst einem Meister des Kugellabyrinths den Schweiß auf die Stirn! Mercury wirkt auch nach zwei PSP-Ahnen zunächst unverbraucht. Doch der Schwerpunkt liegt diesmal auf Geschwindigkeit, auf Bestwerten für Ranglisten. Deshalb stehen rasantes Kippen und wilde Kameradrehs im Vordergrund, um ja rechtzeitig im Ziel zu sein. Zu viele Levels wurden auf diesen Speedrausch zugeschnitten und fordern statt durchdachter Akrobatik rasante Reaktionstests: ein Fehlgriff, Game Over, Frust On. Wirklich umdenken muss man dabei nie, weil sich viele Muster über weite Strecken wiederholen. Nein, mehr als ein Zwischendurch-Knobeln ist die Quecksilber-Achterbahn einfach nicht.

  1. Ha da ist ja ein Test :)
    Die Demo hat zwar Spaß gemacht aber ich hab die Befürchtung das mir das auf Dauer zu eintönig ist.
    Positiv zu Erwähnen ist noch das man die eigene Musik beim Spielen hören kann.
