Fazit

LEGO Star Wars ist der Traum jedes Kindes im Manne: LEGO und Star Wars! Und es nutzt beide Lizenzen bis zur kleinsten Schraube aus! Und so skurril die Mischung anfangs auch klingen mag – Traveller’s Tales hat ein spannendes, witziges und für Spieler jeden Alters taugliches Game entwickelt, das man einfach gern haben muss! Dieses Spiel zaubert schon nach kürzester Zeit ein sehr breites Grinsen in das Gesicht eines jeden, der einen Blick darauf werfen konnte – man darf nicht den Fehler machen, es als blödsinnigen Kinderkram abzustempeln. LEGO Star Wars gibt einem die Macht wahnsinnig viel auszuprobieren – auch wenn das Tanzenlassen von Stühlen keinen spielerischen Wert hat, ist es einfach cool, dass man es kann! Das erinnert an frühe Textadventures, in denen der Spieler ebenfalls die Freiheit hatte, einen Haufen Blödsinn zu tun. Dazu gibt es ideenreiches Leveldesign, einen Riesenbatzen Situationskomik, einen toll funktionierenden Koop-Modus, einen Haufen freispielbaren Kram und natürlich Darth Maul als grimmig schauenden, aber doch irgendwie liebenswerten Rundkopf – toll! Allerdings ist die Spiellänge trotz des hohen Wiederspielwerts nicht wirklich vorzeigbar, außerdem verrät das Game schon ziemlich viel über Episode 3; wer sich das Filmerlebnis nicht spoilern lassen will, sollte nur bis dahin spielen. Außerdem sollte man mit einer zickigen Kamera sowie der generell sehr simplen Spielmechanik kein Problem haben. Ob Star Wars-Fan oder nicht, wer ein Faible für humorige Action-Addventures hat, kommt an LEGO Star Wars nicht vorbei. Hoffentlich beglücken uns die Entwickler irgendwann mit einer Klotz-Umsetzung der klassischen Trilogie!

  1. ich sags mal so: 90 % wissen eh wie episode ausgehen wird. und die handlungen bis dahin, kann man sich auch fast zusammenreimen.
    schauen wir mal, ob mr. lukas sich noch etwas überraschendes einbaut ;)

  4. Star Wars ist gerade wieder in aller Munde: In knapp einem Monat wird die erste Trilogie beendet, die Brücke zum Original-Dreiteiler endlich geschlossen. Normalerweise ist das immer die Zeit, in der ein uninspiriertes »Spiel zum Film« auf den Markt geschmissen wird – doch dieses Mal ist alles anders. Dieses Mal ist die Macht mit dem Game.
