Alljährlich fasziniert die Tour de France die Radsportfans aufs Neue. Und überhaupt ist Radfahren ein letzten Endes doch sehr beliebter Sport. Trotzdem hat sich bisher kein Hersteller gefunden, der sich an die Aufgabe macht, ein vernünftiges Spiel zu dieser Sportart auf die Beine zu stellen – bis jetzt. Denn Konami hat sich des Themas angenommen und präsentiert mit Tour de France das Spiel zum Spektakel. Was man von der Pedal-Treterei zu erwarten hat, könnt Ihr unserem Test erfahren.

Treten ist angesagt

Obwohl der Tour de France-Modus natürlich im Mittelpunkt des Spiels steht, gibt es für angehende Profi-Radfahrer noch eine ganze Anzahl weiterer Spielmodi.
Um sich erst einmal an die Steuerung der Drahtesel zu gewöhnen, sollte man vielleicht das Training absolvieren, das Euch mit Hilfe von zehn Aufgaben an die Spielmechanik und die Steuerung gewöhnt.

Die gestaltet sich im Übrigen als absolut eingängig und simpel. Ein Knopf dient zum Treten (bei wiederholtem Druck “steht” der Fahrer im Sattel und sprintet), einer zum Bremsen und einer dient dazu, einen Griff zum Getränk durchzuführen, um sich zu erfrischen.
Dies ist auch bitter nötig, denn beim Sprint geht die Energieleiste recht schnell dem Ende entgegen.
Aber ein gezielter Griff zur Flasche und schon wird das Energieniveau wieder angehoben.

Ihr könnt aber auch Energie tanken, ohne zum wertvollen (und natürlich isotonischen) Getränk zu greifen: Denn wenn Ihr im Windschatten eines anderen Fahrers seid, regeneriert Ihr Euch ebenfalls.

Hat man die simple Kontrolle der Räder gemeistert, kann man sich im Arcade-Modus an einfachen Rennen versuchen, im Zeitfahren alleine respektive gegen einen gespeicherten “Geisterfahrer” antreten oder einen zweiten Spieler zum direkten Duell herausfordern.
