Fazit

Ähnlich wie die Kollegen Ratchet & Clank in ihrem dritten Abenteuer präsentiert sich auch Jak mitsamt Kollege Daxter als durchweg unterhaltsames, aber leider nicht mehr bahnbrechendes Spielerlebnis. Das Verhältnis von Action und fordernden Sprungpassagen geht zwar wieder mehr in Richtung des ersten Teiles und die integrierten Mini-Games sowie abwechslungsreichen Missionen machen eine Menge Spaß, doch es gibt nur in Ausnahmefällen spielerische Überraschungen. Insofern fackelt Naughty Dog bekannte Gameplay-Elemente auf verdammt hohem Niveau ab. Trotzdem gibt es ein paar Punkte, die dann schließlich für deutlichen Abstand zum Platin sorgen: Sowohl Zielhilfe als auch Kollisionsabfrage zeigen immer wieder Aussetzer und von Zeit zu Zeit zeigen sich sogar Bugs, die die Qualitätssicherung augenscheinlich nicht entdeckt hat. Doch die Momente, in denen diese das Gameplay beeinflussen, kann man an einer Hand abzählen. Dafür allerdings kann die gewohnt witzig erzählte Story überzeugen, die nicht nur ein Wiedersehen mit nahezu allen lieb gewonnenen Charakteren der Vorgänger bietet, sondern die Trilogie würdig abschließt. Wer neben Sly Cooper und Ratchet noch Platz im Spieleregal hat, kann unbesorgt zugreifen.

Der einzig gute Teil ist der erste, Jak & Daxter ist ein Jump and Run und noch ein sehr guter dazu, was die mit dem Duo angestellt haben ist schon fast ein Verbrechen, es ist einfach nur öde und langweilig und viel zu schwer geworden. Naughty Dog hätte sich an der Crash Bandicoot Trilogy oder Rayman ein Beispiel nehmen sollen. Jak 2 und 3 in dieser miserablen Form braucht niemand, erst mit Uncharted hat Naughty Dog endlich wieder die Kurve gekriegt. Ich habe mir die HD Trilogy nur gekauft, weil der geniale erste Teil dabei ist. Jak 2 spielt sich ja fast wie ein deutlich schwereres GTA solche Spiele brauche ich nicht.

  3. Jak 1-3 macht bock, Jak X war ein klasse rennspiel mit J&D typischem Humor und der wohl tiefsten und besten story in einem rennspiel (was nicht allzu schwer is.. ;D) und Daxter für die psp gibt doch mal wieder einen lupenreines J´n´R INKLUSIVE "schusswaffe" und das klappt doch alles im gemisch
    mag ein später kommentar sein aber für mich ist diese Serie ein einziger spaß mit durchdachter story, unheimlich vielen, abwechslungsreichen einflüssen und dem besten sidekick (was er eig. ja schon gar nicht mehr ist) in einem spiel
    Jak und Daxter sind und bleiben eine Klasse für sich *thumbs up*
