Fazit

Auch wenn Motorrad-Rennspiele auf der PS2 eher Mangelware sind, solltet ihr um TT Superbikes lieber einen Bogen machen. Einzig Simulations-Fetischisten und Highspeed-Junkies könnten dem Titel aufgrund des anspruchsvollen Fahrverhaltens und der schnellen, aber detailarmen Grafik noch etwas abgewinnen, doch wäre für solche Spieler auch das etwas betagte Riding Spirits 2 eine echte Alternative. Wer dagegen weniger Wert auf eine Simulation legt, aber auf Zweirad-Rennen nicht verzichten möchte, sollte sich unseren Test zu Namcos MotoGP4 genauer ansehen.

  1. Glückwunsch ihr habt es geschafft das ich mich regestriert habe und Warum?
    Mußte ich bei der Gameprobewertung schon lachen ,schießt ihr den Vogel ab !
    TT Superbikes kann in sachen Grafik+Sound sicherlich nicht mit den Top-Titeln aus dem Renngenre mithalten sondern bietet gehobenen Durchschnitt. Aber ihr erwähnt es ja schon in eurem Test ,das Geschwindigkeitsgefühl ist sehr gut (In der Ego sogar wahnwitzig!). Und der Sound ? Tja die 125er,250er sägen halt wie ein Zweitakter während Zweizylinder wie die Ducati schön dumpf klingen.
    Nicht perfekt aber ganz gut gelungen.
    Auch die Replays können einem Vergleich mit der Moto GP Serie nicht standhalten sind aber weit davon entfernt lächerlich zu wirken (Man erinnere sich wir reden hier von einem kleinen Entwicklerhaus namens Jester!).
    Was das Spiel aber wirklich auszeichnet ist die grandiose Simulation von Strecke und Fahrgefühl.
    Ich habe alle anderen Moto GP Teile,auch die der XBOX,gespielt und keines von denen kommt in sachen Steuerung/Simulation an TT Superbikes heran.
    Jester scheint jede echte Bodenwelle der Isle Of Man impletiert zu haben,eine Kurve falsch angefahren und die Karre kommt ins schaukeln , was spätestens mit den Big Bikes zur absoluten Herausforderung wird.
    Sicher es ist eigentlich nur ein Kurs aber ich habe jetzt alleine schon 2 Wochen gebraucht um die Strecke zu verinnerlichen da sie ja locker 20 Minuten Fahrzeit beansprucht. Und auch hier hat Jester IMO alles richtig gemacht denn der Spieler wird nach und nach durch fast immer interessante Prüfungen an die besonders kniffligen Stellen herangeführt um sie vielleicht auch mit der Expert-Steuerung(die sich wirklich nur an Experten richtet)zu meistern. Sehr gelungen finde ich auch das sich jedes(erst erspielbare) Motorrad anders fährt.
    Was bleibt also?
    Ein Must-Have wohl kaum. Aber bestimmt auch nicht so eine Wertung wie ihr sie hier verzapft denn wer sich auf TT einläßt bekommt trotz der einen Strecke (die ist für Fans genauso Kult wie der Nürburgring) maßig...

Was für Autofreaks die Nordschleife des Nürburgrings bedeutet, ist für Motorradfahrer aus aller Welt die britische Isle of Man, auf der seit 1907 eines der größten Renn-Events für Zweiräder stattfindet. Jetzt wurde der über 60km lange Kurs akkurat für den PS2-Racer TT Superbikes umgesetzt.
