Fazit

Die VR-Umsetzung von Gran Turismo 7 ist wirklich gelungen. Durch die gute Hardware des neuen VR-Headsets und die Leistung der PS5 sind die Cockpits knackscharf, die Spiegel so gut benutzbar wie bei einem echten Auto und die Umgebung samt Wetter und Tageszeit erstaunlich überzeugend. Zudem kann endlich das komplette Rennspiel in VR gespielt werden und ist nicht länger – wie bei GT Sport – auf einen Zusatz-Modus limitiert. So ist Gran Turismo 7 das wohl umfangreichste VR-Rennspiel auf der Konsole. Klar: PC-Raser kennen den VR-Effekt schon länger, dafür bekommen PlayStation-Piloten die volle Fahrzeug- und Streckenpackung von GT7, inklusive Mehrspieler- und Sportmodus. Das ist richtig cool – und GT7 alleine schon ein mögliches Kaufargument für PlayStation VR2.

  1. Bei mir funktioniert das Eye Tracking mit Brille nicht, vermute das Gestell verdeckt den IR Sensor oder die sind unglücklich verspiegelt (sind so bei Sonne selbstfärbende Gläser).
    Ich schwank‘ noch zwischen VR Optiker und Linsen…

    Naja wenn deine Brillengläser an die Linsen der VR-Brille kommen, dann gibts da halt die Gefahr des Verkratztens. Aber ich hab ne Quest2, da ist es halt schon sehr eng. Ohne Brille kommen teils fast meine Augen an die Linsen ran.
