Gameplay

Dank einer umfangreichen Einführung mit einer kleinen Schulung der Aerodynamik und einem Schuss Physik (“Wie funktioniert das mit dem Aufwind, oder warum braucht ein Flugzeug so gebogene Flügel”) wird aus einem Landei schnell ein König der Lüfte.

Der Flugsimulator Fly! 2k (German Edition) ist ein Flugsimulator der zivilen Luftfahrt, der es leicht mit anderen Produkten aus dieser Sparte aufnehmen kann (vgl. Microsoft, Microprose, u.ä.).
Tatsächlich sind die im Spiel angebotenen Schalter, Hebel und Funktionen einer realen Maschine dieses Typs nachgebildet und voll funktionstüchtig. Alles was das echte Flugzeug kann, ist eins zu eins mit in den Simulator übernommen worden.

Eine Option für Anfänger erleichtert den ersten Sprung zum Profipiloten. Ihr könnt bei Bruchlandungen, misslungenen Manövern oder eindrucksvollen Kapriolen die letzte Sequenz wiederholen lassen, um dort eventuelle Fehler zu erkennen und daraus zu lernen. Ihr könnt durch umfangreiche Navigationsmöglichkeiten, wie Vektordiagramme und genaue Flugabschnittskarten, über die ganze Erdkugel fliegen und die Gegend von oben betrachten.
