Final Fight in 3D

Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu ist nicht mehr und nicht weniger als ein Final Fight-Klon in nettem 3D-Gewand: Ihr bewegt euch wahlweise alleine oder kooperativ als Batman, Robin, Batgirl oder Nightwing durch Abschnitte, die mit Gegnern voll gestopft sind und verprügelt sie nach Herzenslust.
Genau wie bei Final Fight gibt es gewisse Möglichkeiten, mit der Umgebung zu interagieren: Gegenstände können aufgenommen und den Feinden entgegen geschmissen werden; kollidieren die bösen Buben mit Wänden wird ihnen zusätzlich Energie abgezogen.

Zu zweit deutlich spaßiger.

Leider plagt Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu das gleiche Problem wie die populäre Vorlage: das Spielprinzip wird auf Dauer extrem eintönig. Egal ob ihr unter Zeitlimit Geiseln befreien oder Bomben entschärfen müsst, läuft einfach alles nur auf Prügeln bis zum Koma hinaus. Und das ist einfach zu wenig, um heutzutage noch für Langzeitmotivation sorgen zu können. Einzig die interessanten Bosskämpfe und das Upgrade-System sorgen für etwas Abwechslung und die nötige Abgrenzung zu Final Fight. __NEWCOL__Je nach euren Fähigkeiten, Kombos aneinanderzuhäufen und gleichzeitig nicht getroffen zu werden, bekommt ihr nach Abschluss des Levels Punkte, die ihr für neue Fähigkeiten ausgeben könnt – schlagkräftigere Tritte oder Würfe z.B. oder Upgrades für euer Batarang, das leider im Spiel viel zu selten gefordert wird. Doch trotzdem kann man dem neuen Batman-Abenteuer einen gewissen Fun-Faktor nicht absprechen – auch wenn der Spaß sich hauptsächlich zu zweit einstellt.
Doch selbst hier hat man trotz Buddy-Moves nach einer gewissen Zeit einfach genug. Denn nur weil man zu zweit antritt, ändert sich nichts daran, dass das Dauerprügeln zu wenig Substanz für lange Spielesessions bietet. Für ein kleines Spielchen zwischendurch gibt es aber sicherlich auch schlechtere Alternativen. Denn die nach und nach freischaltbaren Herausforderungen gehen zwar auf das gleiche einheitliche Spielprinzip ein, sorgen aber für spürbare Auflockerung.

Comic-Atmosphäre ist vorhanden  – Texturarmut leider auch.

Comic im Blut

Basierend auf der amerikanischen Cartoon-Serie wurde die Optik an den Stil der TV-Show angepasst – mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen.
