Fazit

Charmant, entspannend, aber auch ein wenig holprig – so würde unsere Einschätzung des Puzzle-Plattformers Another Sight lauten, wenn wir nur einen Satz zur Verfügung hätten. Kits sympathische Monologe und Hodges putzige Katzen-Animationen sind uns sofort ans Herz gewachsen. Die Rahmenhandlung über ein Familiendrama und unterirdische Experimente machen ebenfalls neugierig. Zudem sorgt auch das surreal inszenierte „Sichtbarmachen“ der Umgebung mit Hilfe von Geräuschen für spannende Trips ins Ungewisse. Schade, dass Entwickler „Lunar Great Wall Studio“ dem Spiel nicht mehr Zeit für Feinschliff gegönnt hat, denn mitunter sind die Sprungpassagen ziemlich holprig geraten oder lassen sich (selbst für einen Plattformer mit einer erblindeten Protagonistin) zu schlecht abschätzen. Vieles wirkt hier noch ein wenig hölzern – ob eine seltsam platzierte Kamera, kleine Schnittstellenfehler, zuckende Figuren oder Detailmangel in manchen Kulissen. Trotz einiger Macken entfaltet die Reise unter die Erde mit all ihren geheimnisvoll glühenden Grotten und obskuren Maschinenpuzzles aber durchaus eine gewisse Faszination.
