Vikings on Trampolines: Neuer Pixel-Brawler vom Owlboy-Entwickler angekündigt

Eine gepflegte Kneipenprügelei gehört bei den Kriegern aus dem Norden zu einem geselligen Abend ja irgendwie dazu, dank des Entwicklers D-Pad Studio wissen wir jetzt: Trampoline wohl auch. So kündigte das norwegische Team, bekannt durch ihren Überraschungshit Owlboy, den Pixel-Brawler Vikings on Trampolines für den PC an.

Der Name ist Programm, denn ähnlich wie bei Genre-Vertretern à la Brawlhalla oder Super Smash Bros. kämpft ihr euch in verschiedenen 2D-Pixel-Arenen alleine oder im Vier-Spieler-Couch-Koop durch Gegner-Horden und nutzt dabei unterschiedlichste Items, um möglichst nicht vom namengebenden Trampolin zu fliegen. Wer mit seinen Wikinger-Kollegen noch ein Hühnchen zu rupfen hat, kann dies im lokalen PvP-Modus tun. 



Couch-Koop, Bosse und eine Menge Ballons

Abseits des lokalen PvPs dürft ihr im Abenteuer-Modus mit Bossen kämpfen und in mehreren Minispielen euer Können unter Beweis stellen. “Vier Wikinger müssen ihren verzauberten König vor dem bösen Balloonie und seinen Handlangern aus Ballons retten. Springe durch eine Welt voller lustiger Herausforderungen und Bosse, um den König und seine gestohlenen Spielzeugtiere zu retten.” Dabei lassen sich die Nordmänner und -frauen mit nur einer Hand steuern, nebenbei also ein Horn Met trinken? Kein Problem!

Ob sich der Brawler in seinem umkämpften Genre einen Namen machen kann, oder ob der Titel genauso an der Spielerschaft abprallt, wie ein Wikinger an einem Trampolin, wird sich wohl erst zum Release des Titels zeigen. Wann genau Vikings on Trampolines auf Steam veröffentlicht wird, wurde noch nicht bekannt gegeben.
