Das Han-Imperium steht kurz vor dem Fall und hinterlässt ein zersplittertes China. In Total War: Three Kingdoms streiten zwölf Warlords um den Thron. Einen Überblick über die Warlords geben SEGA und Creative Assembly im folgenden Trailer. Als Spieler kann man die Wunden des Landes als gütiger Liu Bei heilen, das Establishment als Banditenkönigin Zheng Jiang in Brand setzen oder als Taktiker Cao Cao die Armeen der Gegner austricksen. Jeder Warlord soll ein Meister seiner Disziplin sein. Das Strategiespiel wird am 23. Mai 2019 erscheinen.

    Aufgrund der historischen Situation zu Beginn des Spieles ist es logisch, Lu Bu nicht als Startfraktion anzubieten, da er unter Dong Zhou gedient hat. Wenn man mit Dong Zhou startet und in seiner Storyquest so entscheidet, dass es zum Verrat von Lu Bu kommt, hat man innerhalb von ~10-15 Runden Lu Bu als Anführer der Fraktion.
    Ist mir klar. Man kann aber davon ausgehen,daß sie verschiedene Start-Zeten bringen werden. Aehnlich wie die Spielereihe "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" wo man auch mit den gelben Turbanen oder spaeter bei den drei streitenden Reichen oder noch spaeter den Aufstieg der Jing spielen konnte.
    Zumindest wuerde dies das Spiel weiter beleben, man hat schließlich nicht immer Lust erstmal die einen zu spielen um dann irgendwann den underdog der Fraktionen zu spielen.
