The Pathless: Mystisches Abenteuer sprintet auf Nintendo Switch und Xbox

Pfeil anlegen, Sehne spannen… und Abschuss: Das Bogenschützen-Adventure The Pathless hat zwei neue Konsolen im Visier und landet mit zielgenauer Präzision bald auf der Nintendo Switch und der Xbox.

Schon am 2. Februar trifft das fortbewegungsfokussierte Abenteuer von Entwickler Giant Squid ins Schwarze und beglückt Spieler der oben genannten Plattformen, wie Publisher Annapurna Interactive gestern mit einem passenden Trailer ankündigte. Die Reise von Bogenschützin und Adler kann damit in Kürze auch unterwegs erlebt werden.

The Pathless: In Windeseile weg von der Exklusivität

Bislang war The Pathless zumindest im Konsolen-Kosmos ausschließlich auf der PlayStation anzutreffen und hatte es sich nebenbei noch auf dem PC gemütlich gemacht. Nun öffnet sich die Welt für das Open World-Spiel noch ein bisschen weiter und lässt auch Xbox- und Nintendo Switch-Spieler auf die mysteriöse Insel reisen, die als Schauplatz des Spiels dient.

Dort landet die namenlose Titelheldin eines Tages mit ihrer Nussschale, um einen weltverschlingenden Fluch zu brechen, das Licht zu bewahren und die Welt vor ewiger Finsternis zu retten. Als sie auf den Geist der Adlermutter trifft, die der Bogenschützin für ihre Mission einen kleinen, gefiederten Gefährten an die Seite stellt, kann die Reise endlich losgehen.

Es folgt ein atemloses Abenteuer, in dem ihr euch mit meisterhafter (und automatischer) Präzision von Zielscheibe zu Zielscheibe schießt, dabei mit Höchstgeschwindigkeit über Wiesen und durch Wälder jagt und die Insel von der Finsternis befreit, während ihr euch den dort hausenden Bossgegnern stellt. Wie das in Aktion aussieht, zeigt auch noch einmal der oben eingebettete Trailer.

Bei seinem Launch vor knapp zweieinhalb Jahren konnte uns The Pathless in unserem Test mit einer mystischen Welt, einer intensiven Atmosphäre und manischem Movement begeistern. Shadow of the Colossus-Fans dürften sich auf der mysteriösen Insel schnell wie zuhause fühlen, finden das Glück der Erde dieses Mal aber nicht auf dem Rücken von Agro, sondern in der Sehne ihres Bogens.
