Obwohl es nur noch anderthalb Monate bis zum Release von Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sind, liegt die Marketingmaschinerie von Nintendo seltsam still – doch das scheint sich jetzt zu ändern.

 

Spontan kündigte man auf Twitter eine zehnminütige Gameplay-Präsentation an, die schon morgen, am 28. März um 16 Uhr auf dem YouTube-Kanal von Nintendo abgehalten werden wird. Vorgestellt wird der neue Happen zu Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom vom Produzent des Spiels, Eiji Aonuma, der in der Öffentlichkeit als Gesicht der Reihe auftritt.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Sorgt die Präsentation endlich für Klarheit?

Mehr als den Termin und die Dauer der Präsentation zu Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom verriet der Tweet leider nicht, über den Inhalt lässt sich aktuell daher nur spekulieren. Der letzte Trailer riss die düster werdende Story an, in der der Blutmond Bokoblins und andere Kreaturen Hyrules mit neuer Motivation versorgt, das Königreich mit Unheil zu überziehen.

Ansonst ist das bisher offiziell gezeigte Material aber vor allem ein zusammengeflicktes Stückwerk, aus dem sich nur schwer schlau werden lässt: Hier ein paar neue Features in Form von Fahrzeugen, neue Waffen, neue Gegner und ein paar fliegende Inseln. Doch was Spieler in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom wirklich erwartet, darüber scheinen viele noch zu rätseln – so übrigens auch unser Redakteur Matthias.

Zwar wird es aus marketingtechnischer Sicht ohnehin langsam Zeit, potenzielle Kunden auf den Release am 12. Mai vorzubereiten, die angekündigte Präsentation könnte aber auch eine Reaktion auf die Verwirrung der Fans sein. Es ist also durchaus plausibel, dass Aonuma in den morgigen zehn Minuten als Kommentator auftritt und das gezeigte Gameplay in einen entsprechenden Kontext rückt.

 

Ob sich die spontane Mini-Direct also eher darauf konzentriert, für Klarheit zu sorgen oder nochmal eine Reihe neuer Mechaniken vorstellt, erfahren wir dann morgen, um 16 Uhr. Bis dahin könnt ihr euch mit unserer umfangreichen Übersicht zu Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom vorbereiten, in der wir alle bereits bekannten Infos gut verdaulich aufdröseln.

    Keine Sorge, Link wird sich schon nicht 30 Sekunden lang durch einen schmalen Höhlenspalt quetschen, oder ein Wildschwein Text lastig vom Wald zum Lagerfeuer tragen.
