The Ascent: Sci-Fi-Shooter kommt im März auf die PlayStation

The Ascent erschien im Juli letzten Jahres für PC und Xbox und soll am 24. März nun auch auf die PlayStation 4 und PlayStation 5 kommen, wie die Kollegen von Respawn Station berichten. Das Spiel wurde vom schwedischen Entwickler-Team Neon Giant entwickelt. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Sci-Fi-Shooter, der allein oder mit bis zu vier Spielern gezockt werden kann. Im Test auf 4Players.de hinterließ The Ascent einen zwiespältigen Eindruck. Zwar bietet der Titel auf der einen Seite viel Ballerspaß und ist grafisch beindruckend, jedoch ist die Geschichte auf der anderen Seite weitgehend mager.
 
Ein Sprecher von Neon Giant freut sich enorm über den geplanten PlayStation-Release: “Wir sind überwältigt worden, wie großartig die Rückmeldungen zu unserem Spiel auf Xbox und PC waren, daher sind wir begeistert, das Spiel einem bereiteren Publikum zu präsentieren. Wir haben damit angefangen, The Ascent zu entwickeln, weil wir es lieben, Spiele zu machen und wir wollen das, was wir geschaffen haben, mit so vielen Gamern wie möglich teilen, in der Hoffnung, dass die Menschen beim Spielen genauso viel Spaß haben, wie wir beim Entwickeln gehabt haben.”

Außerdem ist zeitgleich mit der Ankündigung der PlayStation-Veröffentlichung der neue “Cyber Warrior”-DLC erschienen. Dieser beinhaltet neue Gegenstände sowie einen “New-Game-Plus”-Modus, der neue Herausforderungen für einen weiteren Spieldurchlauf beinhaltet.
