Square Enix hat im Rahmen der E3 2019 einen Trailer mit Spielszenen aus den Rollenspielen Romancing SaGa 3 und SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions (einer erweiterten Version von SaGa: Scarlet Grace) veröffentlicht, die erstmals auch im Westen erscheinen werden:



Zu Romancing Saga 3, das als Remaster für Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, PC (Steam, Windows 10), iOS und Android erscheinen wird, schreibt der Publisher: “Der Aufstieg von Morastrum – ein Ereignis, in dem ein dunkler Stern die Sonne verdeckt – bedroht die Existenz der Welt. Allen, die in jenem Jahr geboren werden, ist es vorherbestimmt zu verenden, bevor es vorüber ist.

Allerdings überlebte ein einziges Kind den ersten Aufstieg von Morastrum vor 600 Jahren. Er wurde als der Erzfeind bekannt und führte die Welt ins Verderben. Weitere 300 Jahre vergingen und wieder trotzte ein Kind dem Schicksal. Sie wurde als Matriarchin bekannt und besiegte das Böse, um der Welt wieder Frieden zu bringen.

Nun, 300 Jahre später, steht der Aufstieg von Morastrum erneut bevor und das Gleichgewicht der Welt steht auf dem Spiel. Wird es ein weiteres Schicksalskind geben? Wird das Kind eine rechtschaffene, bösartige oder noch eine andere Art Kraft sein, welche die Welt sich nicht vorstellen kann?

Der RPG-Klassiker aus dem Jahre 1995 erscheint endlich Westen und zwar als Remastered-Version! Deine Entscheidungen zählen – von der Wahl deines Helden, über abzweigende Geschichten und der Auswahl deiner Gruppenmitglieder bis zu deiner Wahl, welche Fertigkeiten zu entwickelst. Jedes Spiel ist ein neues Abenteuer!”

Zum für Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC (Steam), iOS und Android erscheinenden SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions heißt es: “Der Feuerbringer, ein gefallener Gott und Geißel der Menschheit, hat seit seinem Exil die Welt ins Chaos gestürzt. Die Menschheit hat ein Imperium mit einem einzigen Zweck erschaffen: Den Kampf mit dem Feuerbringer und seinem Gefolge aufzunehmen, um die Menschheit zu verteidigen. Nach einem Jahrtausend des Kampfes ist der Feuerbringer endlich besiegt und das Imperium ohne Ziel, ein Brandherd der Rebellion.

Das Schicksal der Welt ist ungewiss. Folge der Reise vier einzigartiger Helden, wenn diese ihre Macht einsetzen, um eine neue Zukunft zu schaffen.
