Erinnert ihr euch noch an das Stealth-Actionspiel Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, das vor mittlerweile 16 Jahren für den PC, GameCube, PS2 und die Xbox auf den Markt kam? Falls nicht, dann könnt ihr das ab sofort nachholen – und zwar besonders günstig: . Ubisoft verschenkt das Spiel nämlich für kurze Zeit.

In Verbindung mit dem großen Black Friday Sale, der aktuell im Ubisoft Store stattfindet, könnt ihr die PC-Version von Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory kostenlos herunterladen. Es handelt sich dabei um die komplette Vollversion ohne inhaltliche Einschränkungen. Dieses besondere Geschenk steht noch bis zum 25. November 2021 als Gratis-Download für euch bereit.

Ein Blick zurück: Die Story von Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory spielt im Jahr 2008 und somit kurz nach den Ereignissen des Vorgängers Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Der Agent Sam Fisher erhält den Auftrag, den entführten Informatiker Bruce Morgenholt zu suchen, der sich in den Fängen einer Terroristengruppierung befindet. Wie für die Serie üblich, erwartet euch eine Mischung aus Stealth-Gameplay und Actioneinlagen, bei der vor allem taktisches Vorgehen und der geschickte Einsatz von Technologie-Gadgets im Fokus stehen.

    aber es war der beste Teil, das stimmt schon
    fande aber auch Conviction und Blacklist recht cool
    es sieht wirklich nicht schlecht aus. Es war der erste Teil mit starker Nutzung von Pixel shadern. Direkt das erste Level mit den nassen Oberflächen war ein Show Case für die Xbox 1. Nicht vergessen, das Spiel kam zu ner ähnlichen Zeit raus wie Resi 4, was viel schlechter gealtert ist.
