Red Dead Online(Action-Adventure) von Rockstar Games

Ab heute können Besitzer der Ultimate Edition, dann schrittweise weitere und ab Freitag schließlich alle Besitzer von Red Dead Redemption 2 kostenlos an der Beta zum Online-Modus auf PS4 und Xbox One teilnehmen (wir berichteten).

Was ist enthalten? Rockstar Games verspricht ein strukturell ähnliches, aber stark erweitertes Multiplayer-Konzept im Vergleich zu Red Dead Redemption, das man langfristig mit Inhalten erweitern will. Zunächst beträgt der Dowbload knapp sechs Gigabyte.

Man wird als Outlaw im Wilden Westen samt seiner fünf Staaten unterwegs sein, aber im Gegensatz zum Hauptspiel einen eigenen männlichen oder weiblichen Charakter erstellen und seine Fähigkeiten entwickeln können. Danach kann man alleine oder mit Gefährten losziehen, wobei man Banden mit bis zu sieben Leuten gründen kann. Die können sich ähnlich wie in der Kampagne um ein eigenes Camp versammeln, um ihre Ausrüstung zu managen, zu kochen etc.

Zwar wird es Kämpfe und Ereignisse geben, in denen Banden in kleineren oder größer angelegten Gefechten gegeneinander antreten und auch ihre Verstecke angreifen, aber man wird auch Städte erkunden, Missionen von Nichtspieler-Charakteren annehmen, Schätze suchen sowie Tiere jagen und fischen können.

Wir sind gespannt, wie sich der Online-Modus spielt und werden einen separaten Test anbieten. Rockstar Games hat allerdings noch keinen Termin für die Veröffentlichung der finalen Version bekannt gegeben.

    vorzeitiges Fazit: Ich zock jetze erstmal DQ11 weiter :lol:
    Story ist Käse... was eine Verschwendung an Potenzial. Aber die Welt ist nahezu 1:1 wie im SinglePlayer.
    Der CharaEditor ist übrigens (noch) richtig kagge. Zumindest das Gesicht kann man nicht "hübsch" machen. Also nix mit T-Sam-Abbild im WildenWesten :mrgreen:. Allerdings ist das auch ein "Vorteil", da man dadurch "gezwungen" wird einen "muddy Character" zu erstellen 8)
    Aber ja.. ich schließe mich prinzipiell @Felerlos an.
    Das ist (noch) nix. Ich hoffe aber auch, dass es momentan nur um einen "StressTest" geht und die Inhalte demnächst nachkommen.

  2. Ist echt mau, was man zum Release bietet. GTA Online hatte da von Anfang an deutlich mehr Umfang. Ich frage mich ob das eine gute Strategie ist. Potentiell kann man unendlich viel Geld mit diesem Modi verdienen, aber die momentane Version ist eher abschreckend und langweilig. Wäre ich Rockstar hätte ich da noch 2-3 Monate Polish und Umfang reingesteckt. Momentan sind die Spieler doch eh noch mit dem Singleplayer zufrieden.

  4. Ich schau mir's mal an, aber auch primär, um nostalgisch durch New Austin zu reiten, weil ich storytechnisch da noch nicht hinkomme (ein Versuch scheiterte recht schnell - das Kopfgeld ist wohl zu lukrativ).
