Quo Vadis 2018(Events) von CMG Conferences

Heute öffnet die Entwicklerkonferenz Quo Vadis 2018 in der Station Berlin ihre Tore. Auf insgesamt sechs Bühnen finden bis zum 25. April zahlreiche Talks, Panels und Workshops statt. Zu den Headline-Speakern gehören dieses Jahr Richard Garriott, Kate Edwards, Tameem Antoniades und Dan Hay. Auch die Indie-Area (Bereich für unabhängige Entwickler) wurde vergrößert. Dieses Jahr stellen 40 Indie-Entwickler in der Quo Vadis Indie Area aus und treten um den Quo Vadis Indie Award an.

Veranstalter der Quo Vadis ist CMG Conferences, die Eventsparte der Computec Media Group (auch 4Players gehört zur Computec Media Group). Hans Ippisch, CEO der Computec Media Group, über die diesjährige Ausgabe der Konferenz: “Das Motto der Quo Vadis 2018 ist ‘Zurück zu den Wurzeln’. Zusammen mit den Besuchern widmen wir uns der Frage, wohin die Reise für die Gamesbranche in diesem und den kommenden Jahren gehen wird. Besonders stolz sind wir auf unser fantastisches Speaker-Line-up mit internationalen Expertinnen und Experten. Die Quo Vadis 2018 ist ein Event, das kein Vertreter der Branche verpassen darf!”

  1. Und das Thema hat niemanden Interessiert.
    Ein weiteres gutes Beispiel für das fehlende Interesse der Spieler and dem Thema Spielentwicklung. Schade, sehr schade, denn wie möchte man jemanden verstehen um Fragen beantworten zu können, wenn man sich damit nicht auseinandersetzen möchte. Grundlegende Fragen, wie "warum haben sie das gemacht?", oder "wo soll das denn bitteschön Sinn machen?"
    Wenn ich die Beteiligung hier mir so anschaue, dann steht es nicht im Vergleich zu der Menge der Spiele, die behaupten genau zu wissen, was Publishe oder Entwickler so denken. Ich glaube kein Wort von solchen Behauptungen, denn hier haben wir den Beweis, dass die meisten Spieler, sich nicht mit dem Thema beschäftigen, noch nicht mal Interesse daran zeigen.
    Topic: Ein weiteres Jahr Quo Vadis, immer wieder eine schöne Zeit. Firmen stellen sich vor, bieten Berufsmöglichkeiten an, halten Vorträge. Gute Stelle um Bekanntschaften zu knüpfen. Bitte mehr davon.
