Wie Sony mitteilt, wird die PlayStation 3 noch diesen Sommer um eine USB-Kamera bereichert. Das “PLAYSTATION Eye” soll Voice- & Video-Chat sowie Online-Gaming unterstützen. Die Kamera ist bewegungssensitiv und besitzt einen Power-Button am integrierten Mikrophon; ein Preis wurde noch nicht genannt. 

Hier die allgemeinen Fakten:

  • Mikrofon mit der Möglichkeit, Hintergrundgeräusche für klarere Gespräche abzudämpfen und Töne aus mehreren Richtungen zu empfangen
  • Videos und Audioformate können direkt auf die Festplatte gespeichert werden
  • Auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen einsetzbar
  • Aufnahmemodi wie Zeitlupe und Zeitraffer
  • Linse mit zwei Zoomstufen für Nah- und Vollbild
  • Visuelle Effekte für Fotos und Videos
  • Im Bundle mit der EyeCreate-Editiersoftware, die Fotos, Bilder und Audioformate bearbeiten kann

  • 4-Kanal-Audioeingang:16 bits/Kanal, 48kHz, SNR 90db
  • 56º bis 75º Sichtradius der Linse
  • 640 x 480 bei 60 Frames/Sekunde

  2. Nunja die PS 3 konnte ja im voice-chat die kamera auf 640*480 zurückschalten. Aber für solche Spiele wie Eye-Toy ( das sicherlich irgendwann für PS 3 erscheinen wird ), wäre es halt nett, wenn man auf seinem HD-Fernseher sich dann auch in HD sieht.

    Wat meint Ihr denn was das an bandbreite kostet 1900x1200 WebCam Videos übers netz zu streamen. Definitiv mehr als 95% der User and bandbreite haben ...
    Also jammert nich rum wenn eure Bandbreite das eh nicht erlauben würdet. Würden sie eine Cam mit der HD Auflösung bringen, würdet Ihr eh nicht viel davon haben !? Oder habt Ihr alle 10MB/s an upload speed !?
    Normales TV hat auch ne Auflösung von 720 x 480 und da jammert auch keiner das es unscharf oder verpixelt ist ...

    Zur Hölle mit der Kamera, die sieht erstens total schäbig aus und wo bleibt das versprochene HD, ich mein die 360 Cam hat auch ne Super Quali eig aber trotzdem hätt ich was anderes von Sony in dem Bereich erwartet, vor allem da Sie die Vorreiter von diesem Kamera Gameplay waren(abgesehen jetzt von der Game Boy Kamera mal :wink: )
