Die Mission der Phantomdiebe geht in die nächste Runde: Ab dem 17. November mischt die Teenager-Bande rund um Anführer Joker in Persona 5 Tactica auch das Genre der Rundenstrategie auf.

 

Mit dabei sind, wie könnte es anders sein, alle Mitglieder, die man im Verlauf der 100-stündigen Kampagne des Hauptspiels aufgabelt: Morgana, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba und Haru. Alle? Nunja, fast: Der populäre Detektiv Akechi und die in Persona 5 Royal hinzugekommene Athletin Kasumi gibt es nur für diejenigen, die noch ein paar Euronen mehr auf den Tisch legen.

Persona 5 Tactica: Akechi und Kasumi als DLC-Charaktere angekündigt

Wie aus dem neuen, dreiminütigen Trailer zu Persona 5 Tactica hervorgeht, schaffen es die beiden inoffiziellen Mitglieder der Phantomdiebe nicht auf dem regulären Weg ins Hauptspiel, sondern nur als DLC. Kauft ihr euch das zum Release erhältliche Challenge-Pack „Repaint Your Heart“ für umgerechnet rund 15 Euro, schließen sich euch Akechi und Kasumi an – auch wenn unklar bleibt, ob die beiden dann in der Hauptstory oder nur innerhalb einiger Extra-Herausforderungen auftauchen.

Das neue Werbevideo zeigt darüber hinaus noch einige andere spannende Details: Der für Persona 5 Tactica jüngst enthüllte Charakter Toshiro Kasukabe, seines Zeichens aufstrebender Politiker und brillanter Taktiker, hat ebenfalls einen Auftritt. Außerdem spendiert man uns einen Blick auf den vermutlich zweiten Bösewicht, einer strahlenden Buddha-Figur mit unzähligen Armen, der nur glückliche Bürger als nützlich anerkennt und offenbar mit harter Hand regiert. Auch die aus Persona 5 bekannte Lavenza ist am Start.

Darüber hinaus könnt ihr abermals einen Blick auf das Gameplay erhaschen, das mit einer Mischung aus den strategischen Kämpfen à la Fire Emblem oder XCOM sowie lauschigen Konversationen daherkommt, in denen ihr eure Teammitglieder und die Bewohner der als “Kingdom” bezeichneten Parallelwelt näher kennenlernt.

Falls euch der taktische Teil weniger zusagt und ihr euch eher die klassischen Kämpfe der Reihe zurückwünscht, lohnt das Warten auf nächstes Jahr. Dann erscheint nämlich Persona 3 Reload, bei dem eine Umfrage jüngst eine mögliche Preiserhöhung von zukünftigen Atlus-Spielen andeutete.

    Ah fair, das mit den Chibi-Charakteren habe ich schon von mehreren gehört. Ich hätte die normalen Modelle auch bevorzugt, aber kann mich mit den verniedlichten Phantomdieben anfreunden, denke ich. Dass es an Mario & Rabbids erinnert, ist für mich dagegen sogar ein Pluspunkt. :ugly:
