Mighty Doom: Neues Spiel mit Mini-Slayer und Comic-Optik angekündigt

Rund drei Jahre nach Doom Eternal ist der Doom Slayer zurück, aber nicht so, wie viele Fans es sich erhofften: Bethesda kündigt mit einem ersten Trailer Mighty Doom an – für Mobile.

Statt einem Ego-Shooter, bei dem ihr mit dem Doom-Slayer in hoher Geschwindigkeit zahlreiche Dämonen endgültig ins Jenseits befördert, erwartet euch in Mighty Doom ein Top-Down-Shooter mit Comic-Optik. Dieser ist laut Bethesda im “Animated Doom Universe” angesiedelt und versetzt euch in die Haut eines Doom-Slayers in Spielzeugform.

Mighty Doom: Action-Spiel mit Single-Touch-Steuerung



Mit diesem ungewöhnlichen Mini-Slayer geht es dann in den Kampf gegen zahlreiche Dämonen. Dabei kämpft ihr in kleinen Level-Arealen, rennt hin und her, schießt auf eure Feinde und sammelt dadurch Erfahrungspunkte. Die wiederum könnt ihr nutzen, um neue Fähigkeiten freizuschalten. Sind erst einmal alle Gegner besiegt, könnt ihr einen Level vorrücken.

Sterbt ihr, dann ist euer Lauf beendet und ihr könnt eure Waffen und andere Ausrüstung verbessern. Beim nächsten Start beginnt ihr dann wieder von vorne, denn Mighty Doom ist zugleich ein bisschen Rogue-Lite. Mehr dazu seht ihr im Ankündigungstrailer:



Wer Lust auf Mighty Doom bekommt, muss sich nicht mehr lange gedulden. Das Mobile-Spiel erscheint bereits am 21. März 2023 für iOS und Android. Interessierte können sich zudem über die Spiel-Webseite vorab registrieren, um Bonusinhalte freizuschalten.
