Ab sofort steht ein kostenloses Update für die flotte Cyberpunk-Action Ghostrunner zur Verfügung. Das haben One More Level und Publisher 505 Games bekanntgegeben. Im Zentrum stehen dabei zwei neue Spielmodi: Zum einen gibt es
einen Wellenmodus, der sich am Designkonzept der “Roguelikes” orientiert und Spielern über 20 Runden zunehmend starke Feindwellen in prozedural generierten Stages entgegenstellt. Wer diese knallharte Herausforderung meistert, in der mitunter ein einziger Treffer zum Tod führen kann, schaltet als Belohnung ein exklusives Schwert frei.

Wer sich dagegen lieber auf die Handlung konzentrieren und Stress in den Kämpfen vermeiden möchte, bekommt ab sofort einen Hilfsmodus geboten, der die Intensität bei den Herausforderungen deutlich entschärft: Zur Wahl stehen drei einstellbare Optionen, mit denen man die Abklingzeit für Spezialfähigkeiten verkürzen, das Spieltempo drosseln und sich ein zusätzliches Leben sichern kann.

Wenn Ghostrunner am 28. September für PlayStation 5 und Xbox Series X erscheint, sind neben allen bisher veröffentlichten kostenlosen Inhalten selbstverständlich auch schon die beiden Zusatz-Modi enthalten. Darüber hinaus bekommt man auch das Neon Pack als Dreingabe dazu, das ab sofort auf PC, PS4 und One zum Preis von 4,99 zur Verfügung steht. Es enthält vier Sets mit Handschuhen und Katanas – Neon-Nacht, Abendrot, Lumineszenz und Schimmer. Für Switch soll das Neon Pack in den kommenden Wochen nachgereicht werden.

Zum Preis von 7,99 Euro erhält man ab sofort auch das “Jack’s-Bundle”, das alle kosmetischen Inhalte enthält, die bisher für Ghostrunner veröffentlicht wurden – inklusive des Neon Packs.

Ab dem 7. September gibt es bei Steam, im Epic Games Store und bei GOG außerdem das Summer Bundle zum Preis von 12,99 Euro mit allen kosmetischen Objekten, Daniel Deluxes Original-Ghostrunner-Soundtrack und einem digitalen Artbook. Der Soundtrack und das digitale Artbook sind auch separat im Art-Bundle (7,99 Euro bei Steam, Epic und GOG) erhältlich.

    Das Spiel habe ich schon lange, nehme an, aus irgendeinem Humble Bundle. Hab es nur mal kurz angespielt, aber wenn ich deinen Kommentar jetzt lese und die Wertungen sehen, sollte ich das doch noch mal richtig versuchen :mrgreen:

  2. Hab schon gute Sachen zu Ghostrunner gehört.
    PS4-Käufer bekommen anscheinend auch ein kostenloses Upgrade auf die PS5-Fassung. Im PSN gibt eine Demo zu dem Spiel. Werde ich nachher mal ausprobieren. und im PSN ist es bis zum 16.09.2021 auf 12€ runtergesetzt.
    Die Addons kann man wohl auch ignorieren - scheinen alles nur kosmetische Sachen zu sein.

So eine Schande, ich habe mir dieses scheinbar wirklich tolle Spiel vor Monaten im Epic Store im Sale für 6 Euro gekauft und noch nicht einmal gespielt, weil ich zu viel mit den Spielen im Game Pass zu tun habe. Hätte nie gedacht, dass ich mich mal darüber beschwere, zu viele gute Spiele zu haben :(
