Der Cyberpunk-Action-Plattformer Ghostrunner bekommt seine bisher größte Erweiterung. Die Entwickler des Spiels One More Level und Publisher 505 Games haben mehr Details zum neuen DLC verraten und enthüllten, dass es sich um eine Story-basierte Erweiterung handeln wird, die einen altbekannten Charakter beinhaltet.

Im DLC mit dem Titel “Projekt_Hel” spielt ihr, wie der Name bereits andeutet, in der Rolle von Hel, einer Bossgegnerin des Originalspiels. Hel wird ein kampforientierter Charakter sein, die “neue Spieler und Veteranen” ansprechen soll und ein eigenes Fortschrittssystem für Fähigkeiten haben wird. Mit der kostenpflichtigen Erweiterung bekommt ihr sechs Missionen, in denen ihr durch die neue Story spielen könnt und begleitet dabei Hel bei ihrem Abstieg in den Dharma-Turm. Die Entwickler bieten euch zusätzlich auch neue Gegner, Bosse und sechs frische Songs des Elektronikmusikers Daniel Deluxe, die eure Kämpfe musikalisch untermalen werden. Das Team von One More Level spricht vom neuen DLC als “vollwertiges Ghostrunner-Erlebnis”, was eigentlich im Vorfeld als kleiner DLC geplant war. Zusätzlich zur neuen Geschichte ist für Ghostrunner auch ein kostenloses Kosmetikpaket geplant. Das Holiday Pack wird mehrere “festliche” Schwerter und passende Handschuhe enthalten und ab dem 7. Dezember erhältlich sein.

Project_Hel wird am 27. Januar zum Preis von 14,99 EUR auf PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Luna und PC via Steam, Epic Games Store und GOG erhältlich sein. Wer die Erweiterung schon im Vorfeld ausprobieren will, kann sein Glück versuchen und sich zu einer frühzeitigen geschlossenen Beta anmelden. Die Teilnehmer werden in den Credits von Projekt_Hel genannt.
