Die Kickstarter-Kampagne von Gamedec war ein Erfolg. Mittlerweile stehen über 100.000 Dollar unter dem Strich und da nur 50.000 Dollar als Mindestziel ausgeschrieben waren, sind schon einige Zusatzziele erfüllt worden. Neben einem True-Detective-Modus (ohne Speichern/Laden), zusätzlichen Interaktionsmöglichkeiten und mehr Anpassungsoptionen wird es auch eine Spielwelt basierend auf Seven: The Days Long Gone von Fool’s Theory und IMGN.PRO geben. In diesem Level wird man einem Kriminalfall in der Welt von Seven nachgehen und dabei einigen bekannten Orten einen Besuch abstatten. Erreicht das Projekt die Marke von 140.000 Dollar, soll noch eine postapokalyptische Spielwelt oder ein Szenario auf Lovecraft-Basis hinzukommen. Der Kickstarter endet am 28. April um 2 Uhr.

In Gamedec (Game + Detective) wird die Geschichte eines Privatdetektivs erzählt, der in virtuellen Spielwelten begangene Verbrechen löst. Das Projekt wird als isometrisches Cyberpunk-Rollenspiel für Einzelspieler ohne Kämpfe beschrieben. “Trage Wortgefechte aus, entdecke oder erschaffe Netze aus Intrigen, rette Menschenleben und entdecke die Beziehungen zwischen den virtuellen Welten und ihren Bewohnern”, schreiben die Entwickler. Die Charakterentwicklung soll auf Basis von getroffenen Entscheidungen basieren und sich an Pen-&-Paper-Rollenspielen orientieren.

  1. Starke Idee, bin beeindruckt. Ich liebe die meisten Holmes Spiele, auch wenn sie teilweise bock-schwer waren, die VR Möglichkeiten, sprich die unterschiedlichen Welten die hier detektivisch erkundet werden können, ist eine Klasse Idee. Die Bewegungsabläufe der Charaktere sollten noch verbessert werden, sehen etwas steif aus, ansonsten Daumen hoch und warten :-)

  2. Sieht wirklich sehr interessant aus, ist an mir einmal mehr vorbeigegangen...
    Aber ich werde mir das ganze jetzt etwas genauer anschauen.
    Ev. wäre ja dies ein Grund für eine neue Rubrik : vielversprechende Kickstarter Projekte - so das ich / man nicht mehr so viel verpasst. :)
